Microsoft Has To Answer This Question at E3 - Brad Sams

Hopefully Microsoft will show you a game that interests you enough, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

If Halo, Gears, Forza, FHorizon, Cuphead, Recore, Sea of Thieves, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, etc... weren't enough to get you interested in Xbox, then maybe Xbox just isn't the place for you. Nothing wrong with that.

Perhaps they will, I am indeed not holding my breath though.

I am just tired of Halo, Gears and Forza. Cuphead is a cool game, but nowhere is a 2D platformer with a (very) cool artstyle a true system seller. Sea of Thieves was dissapointing, Sunset Overdrive is a nice AA game, again hardly system selling. Quantum Break was pretty good, though not exactly a classic. Apart from the big three, I am missing system sellers. Absolutely undisputed system sellers. This is what Xbox needs. Clouds, Xplay, Hololens, ordering a freakin' pizza through kinect during the Superbowl, that's cool. But it ain't gonna sell me a system. Microsoft should focus on the heart and soul of a VIDEOGAME console. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. I would just finally love to see Phil Spencer's words become reality.

I like the Xbox brand. Or rather, have liked it. From 2013 onwards, they just completely lost me, and a whole bunch of people. And it doesn't seem that they get what sells consoles. Why Sony utterly dominates this generation. They seem to wanna compete with that yet... they are looking for excuses instead of taking Sony head-on. I wish they would do that again; everybody benefits from good competition.

Me too. Although third party titles play well on the X. I prefer the controller over the Sonys. But no disputing the fact that Sony have had the much better lineup this gen for me.

GamePass was great though. Although to be honest the big game for me this year was Crackdown 3. Which after all these years waiting didn't meet what I was expecting. However not really sure what I was expecting with that... ::D

Might have another stab at playing CD3 again as I have GamePass for a while.....

Saying all that like MS's hardware. The X is a well built bit of kit. Just spend much more time on the PS4 last gen it was all 360.

The hardware is amazing. They have that nailed down. This is the frustrating part. All the pieces are in place for a great generation. But somehow, Microsoft doesn't seem to be able to focus it's energy where it's most sorely needed.
