Do you even know how to make money? Microsoft is a company like any other that wants to make profit. Granted, they miss the spot many times, but they also nail it from time to time.

Yeah because if you don't have the install base on your new hardware, the money is actually on the PCs that can run your game. So the smart choice is to scale back your vision and ignore the power available to you on XsX and out poops HI.

If MS acquire you you bet your ass the mandate is get your game running in as many devices as possible because we want more subs.

It's not Halo, it would surprise me if it came into play. MS is doing this for Gamepass, they need content for their service, just like Netflix, Hulu, etc. It doesn't mean they are going to ask for huge AAA productions from each and every one of them, it will probably be a range of simple small games, to AA games, to a few AAA games, since it needs to be sustainable, which it isn't at this point.

I agree with that. I'm a sucker buying digital games and I can't resell or let my friends borrow them but that convenience is yummy. Especially if the suspend mode covers a lot of games next gen. And yeah, idc if games go to $70.
