What do you generally search for?
I haven't been hit with a cooldown for a while now (jinxing it I know), my search routine is basically search for a US State and then add an alphabet at the end and continue like that.
eg
Alaska
then Alaska and whatever the first word with 'a' starts with then 'b' and so on.

I just click the auto filled search things in the bing app and on desktop I click the news stories. It's usually more than enough to complete the daily limit.

I'm still seeing the GPU tiles for 12k (and separate tiles for 17k) not sure when they're going to remove the old ones, I though they would have done so already.

Yoo .. the Reward Streak thing works, missed the dailies yesterday and had a mini heart attack when I had a sudden realization late in the evening, lol.
Used the support form, it instantly restored my streak without needing to wait for a human / AI to reply.

Yeah, never had to use it before.
I thought it would just make it so your streak continues and you just get a message or something. But my streak zeroed out and I had to use the support form to reinstate it.

The same thing has happened to me to be fair.
Streak protection is on. I emailed MS and they fixed it and gave me some shitty it's a one off you should have streak protection on excuse - I sent them a screenshot of it showing the 1 day missed and that I had used 1 day of my protection but it still reset me back to zero.
They never replied.

My Weekly Streak is missing a day because South of Midnight and Blue Prince did not want to count as Game Pass games yesterday, I played more than one hour of both and only got the "Play on PC" and "Play on Xbox" quests, not the "Play a Game Pass game" one and both games did not count in the 8 monthly games.
I contacted support about that and waiting for an answer.
Did those games count as Game Pass games for someone ?

They've been doing that for a while. If you just search random letters etc, their system is good at catching it.
I just do country names then search the 'related' searches co completion. Give ~5 seconds between searches so you don't spam it either.

ehhh it happens to basically everyone who does this at some point. i got hit with it a couple months ago and it lasted about 3 weeks til i was back in action.

17,025 for me. I had Gamepass for 2/3rds of the month. I got hit with a cooldown again and my daily check-ins/puzzles pieces are missing. My streak is currently at 960. I'm pretty sure I'm going to "retire" after I hit 999 and then get to 130,000 points (currently at ~42K).

Points don't, not yet at least, but if you use them to buy Xbox/MS Gift Cards, I believe those have to be used in a 90 or 120 day period, at least that's the way it was for the auto-redeem ones I had set up last year.

Apparently MS is rolling out a way to enroll in extended Windows 10 updates via MS Reward points. (1000 points/1year)
Extended Security Updates for Windows 10:
Once you select an option and follow the on-screen steps, your PC will automatically be enrolled. ESU coverage for personal devices runs from Oct. 15, 2025, through Oct. 13, 2026. Starting today, the enrollment wizard is available in the Windows Insider Program and will begin rolling out as an option to Windows 10 customers in July, with broad availability expected by mid-August.

Mine from yesterday seemed to work around 23:30 last night so just got in before it would have reset it all back to zero weeks and days however if MS have changed a setting so it only shows / registers 'end of day' tell us ffs because this is very annoying and if that's the case at least we'll know.

Looks like you've been hit with a cooldown timer. You have to wait 15~ minutes between 4, 5 search counts.

It goes away after a month or two. Not sure what their algorithm is for slapping users with it but it seems to be random waves.
