You're screwed unless you start blocking or deleting people. Your Facebook and Twitter friends don't get priority over mutuals for some inane reason. You can have your friend add you but if he's in the same boat, then you're both SOL for now.
It's the reason why I decided to completely blow up my friend list yesterday just so I could add people I actually know.

Well, hopefully I won't have to purge my friend list so early. I still need to get more Miitomo coins for outfits!
I've had no trouble a few days back with having enough people give my posts hearts and comments. Now that people have overinflated their friend list, I'm sure that with how badly the list cycles and how some people will only post just enough that I'm gonna need to just start cutting people from my list.

Gah, seriously, why doesn't my face to face adding work on my android phone? I don't use fbook, and I added a few people through twitter. However, face-to-face is the only option for some people, and it keeps telling me there are no friends to be found! Frustrating

Very strange. I am on droid and do not have this issue.
The photo maker is the real game.
(Nintendo will probably add minigames in future updates)
Under the friends tab you just scroll past the friend suggestions to see your actual friend list and there should be a number right next to it.

There is also a minigame where you drop your mii character to get clothes, it's frustrating as hell.

The first time someone commented on one of my Q/A's I literally jumped in my chair. It freaked me out.

I wasted all my tickets and I never got that kitty skirt which annoys me because I got like 6 sweaters and 4 shoe pairs. Now I'll never have a matching outfit and it's going to annoy me for the rest of my Miitomo life. Do they expect me to actually wear pants in this?!

I'm always surprised at the people who manage to cap their lists on this app. I never have more than 20 or 30 people on these sort of things. I mean sure there's all these twitter and reddit groups, but still.

I don't get the point of adding people you don't know. This seems like something that's only interesting with people that you know in some kind of meaningful way. Why would I want to know what some total strangers favorite food is?
So I mostly love this app. There's a couple of annoying things for me.
One is being asked if I want a photo of my clothes change after every single time. And then subsequently being asked if I want to post a picture of my clothes change even after I said I didn't want a photo.
Second is how unorganized the answers that my friends give are presented to me. Like my husband is the person whose answers I am by far most interested in seeing. I think I have 16 friends and for like 10-12 of them I'd seen every single one of their answers with 0 missed. But with my husband I'd still had over 50 unseen answers. They just hardly ever show up for me.

I'm so torn...I really wish the app could be only people I know in real life but it seems like there aren't enough interested people on my Facebook friends to get me the my Nintendo bonuses...so it looks like I might be turning to you guys after all.

I've been playing around with this all weekend and love it. Miifotos are a blast and adding new clothes each day is an easy way for me to waste money.

there's three ways
1) you hear them from your Mii
2) when your friend's Mii is visiting you, you can query the friend's Mii directly
3) candy
I've been cursing up a mofo on mine. And my friend decided to get this app as well. We never talk about SFW stuff. It's either her or I ruining every convo we have together, lol

I wonder what kind of legs this app will have. I feel like my feed has slowed down to a crawl from first couple days, and I have about 50 friends. I also don't have any real life friends on it which seems like it would make it even better.

You're mileage may vary! I have quite a few real life friends, and personal twitter followers using it. Still active and I feel like the app has a ton of potential!
I'm not even seeing status' from past Friday personally :/
