Would a magazine or a flyer be ok?

I like to trace over certain lines in newspaper photos, but I can't find a newspaper :x

Day 4 - Take A Picture Of You Flipping Off An Animal

Family pet. Pigeon on the sidewalk. Puppy in the pet store window.

Give an animal the finger and post it.

I'm kinda disappointed more people didn't participate in the drawing-on-newspapers thing. I thought it was fun.

I gotta work tonight so if I'm able to find an animal to flick off, I won't be able to post it until late. I'll try, though =P

It's easier when people don't have to do all kinds of things to post something on GAF, which is why MS Paint worked well.

I have a cellphone camera but I have no pet

I agree. As someone who has no pets, doesn't carry a camera and doesn't read a newspaper, these last two days have been impossible for me to participate in. The task needs to require fewer props, I think.

I actually had a great picture in the paper i saw at work today, a young kid sticking out his tongue while he pets a sleeping tiger. I had such good ideas but then it was over this day!

The flipping the finger activity is not as interesting as that, but I'll try to take one when that damned groundhog comes up to dispense his brand of dark seasonal-predicting powers.

obviously some tasks are going to generate more replies/submissions than others. also, some tasks, like the add a sentence one, will be more accessible than others (like the newspaper one).

however, i don't want every day to be "hey edit this picture in paint, y'all", i really want there to be variety. if every day is a slightly different take on the same thing, people will quickly lose interest. at least i would.

that's why i really want to mix it up. i want people to wake up, or log in at work, or come home after school wondering what the day's task is and whether or not they'll be able to or want to participate.

so i do apologize if i create a task which you can't do that day for whatever reason, but because i'm going to attempt to mix it up every day, there's a good chance you'll be able to tomorrow.

PS: it doesn't matter if you don't have a pet MisterHero, go outside and give a bird the finger. they damn well deserve it!

Day 5 - Create An Olympic Sport

The Olympics are here, and to honor them, I think we should make them even better. Your task for today is to create a brand new olympic sport.

Once you have an idea, how you present it to us is up to you! You can:

- draw a picture of it
- write a description of it
- photoshop a picture of it

Go!

I have the same kind of cat (Maine Coon)! It's a boy though. Does yours have white on all paws?

Toast Toss

A test of timing and skill, athletes are tasked with holding a toaster in their hands and cooordinating a swift upward movement with the popping of the toaster, throwing the toast in the air. Scoring is based on height traveled.

;^)

Shot Penis Put

Same as Shot Put but the ball is attached to your penis.

Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel were selected to help with the warm-up making this category the most watched and most participed in all history of sports. After the first appearance, the Olympic Games has been staged to take place every week of the year and with the only trials of Shot Penis Put and Women Beach Voleyball[citation needed]

110 meters Limbo
same distance and setup as 110 meter hurdles, but contestants have to limbo through under each hurdle. A steel drum band is running parallel to the track, playing "Limbo Rock".

no drawing, but you get the picture.

They were actually both born strays, but we have a feeling they have some Coon in them...

Olympic Pole Dancing

Women 18-24 years of age compete to create the most creative and dynamic dancing routine involving two brass poles which stand ten feet tall and exactly eight feet apart. Contestants are judged on creativity, costumes, difficulty of stunts, and sexiness.

This sport can pave the way for the movement away from synchronized swimming. Future versions of it could include "Synchronized Pole Dancing" or "Creative Lesbian Pole Dancing Duets"

Should a tie between two contestants ever arise, they will proceed to have a dance-off for the gold medal. Skin to win.

This is a day late, but I don't care. I took it yesterday and I'm posting it anyway.

FUCKING ASSHOLE DUCKS, WITH YOUR SWIMMING AND YOUR OCCASIONAL FLYING AND YOUR AGGRESSIVE PURSUIT OF BREAD THROWN AT YOU

100minute Pen Clicking
Whoever clicks their pen the most after 100 minutes non-stop is the winner

also, they spin in an office chair and the number of revolutions acts as a score multiplier

:lol :lol @ Danthrax

NEW GAMES: SPYING

OlympicGamesSmall.jpg

In the spirit of the political unrest that tends to follow Olympics wherever they go, "truces" be damned, the Olympic Committee has decided to add SPYING to the games. Countries are each given mock "intelligence" that they must secure in a selected "base." Rivals must then attempt to use whatever stealthy maneuvers necessary to obtain this intelligence, up to and including murder, sex, lies, bribes and influence.

The standard issue uniform for the sport is a trench coat and a fedora, along with a gun and a case of bullets. Competitors may also choose a tranquilizer gun if killing is not in their blood.
