Milestone for Trump: 1 million new jobs in six months

Thanks Obama <3 Democrats inherit republicans high unemployment numbers only to bring that number down until the next next republican president ruins it again.

Appoint qualified experts to manage policy and listen to their advice. It's actually amazing how easy it is to be a decent president if you actually try.

Auto bailout?

What major initiatives did Pres. Obama enact before he left that's responsible for the growth we're seeing now? Do you really believe the auto bailout is relevant? If you all want to bash Trump, then simply say no POTUS ought to take credit for jobs (particularly if the rise is due to the private sector).

So what was it that created all these new jobs? The failed health care bill shit? The failed wall? Tax reform? Less bad hombes? Golf?

No policies, at BEST you can say that businesses are hiring because they're not nervous about some new tax or health care regulation that would have happened under Clinton (even if the policy isn't bad, fear of an anti-business environment can make companies nervous about expansion, borrowing, etc).

In other words, at best it's just the psychological effect of having a pro-business Republican in office. More likely, he had nothing to do with it whatsoever.

I guess he didn't do anything to fuck it up, either, so there's that.

Obamacare. Look at the growth with the healthcare industry since it was enacted.

More data, last year's first 6 months of job growth are currently exactly equal to this year's. Before that, it hasn't been this low since 2012.

Is this for real? Well, it's probably aimed at stupid people who don't apply logic when processing information, so of course they won't notice this graph establishes the opposite of what Fox News tries to represent.

This has been the ebb and flow of the Republican-Democratic cycle since the 90's. Republicans come in, rack up crazy debt, cut taxes for the rich, and wreck the economy. Then, Democrats come in and spend their entire term fixing it.

Repeat, ad nauseam.

Not really, it's much more complex than this especially when you look at the fact that economic policy is decided by a select class of people who even though they might be in different parties still generally think alike.

For instance, the Bush era reforms of the stock market and the like that caused the crash of 08' were championed by people like Larry Summers, who is a registered Democrat. This is a unique aspect of the U.S, parties come and go but the basis of policy in certain fields (economics, national security, etc.) is determined by a community of professional who even though differ on some issues, generally do tend to go in the same direction.

The first 6 or 7 months of job growth in 2016 were much better than this year.

I'm sure the media will constantly put this into perspective.
