Incredible.
I'll be watching it this weekend!

Article:
"Final Destination Bloodlines" made a killing in its international box office debut, scaring up $51 million from 74 markets. Warner Bros. and New Line's R-rated horror film added another $51 million domestically for a terrific $102 million global start.

Thanks to positive word-of-mouth and great reviews, "Final Destination" secured by far the best opening weekend in the six-film series, which began with 2000's "Final Destination." With this momentum, it'll also eventually rank as the highest-grossing installment over 2011's "The Final Destination" ($186 million globally).

Glad his final performance gets to be on a high note.

Movies are stupid with the tension. Everything builds and then people die in the dumbest way possible.

Show has a zeitgeist since its return from moth balling the franchise.

Ah, so if you make movies people want to see you earn money?

These movies are all a fun watch and are made with care. This is well earned and deserved.

People are so done with soulless superhero movies.

It's a fun movie, went in without watching any trailers to avoid spoiling some of the deaths and had a great time.

Loved the vibes of the 50s opening.

True, it's just that one would have never thought. Just as with Fast and Furious.
While FD will always be the same in terms of plot points, the franchise will always have fresh faces because all of the characters end up dead anyway. The late Tony Todd is the exception but his role is often small it won't hurt the franchise but he will be missed.

F*ck the haters, I love these movies. Sometimes I want to see crazy deaths. Its not like its meant for anything more than that.

I wouldn't call myself a "fan" of these movies, yet I've seen every one.

By all accounts I've seen, people are saying this is the best one yet. Looking forward to it.

I checked reviews and was shocked at how well its reviewing with both critics and audiences.

Well, the movie more or less delivers what it promises EXCEPT Tony Todd is only in it for about one minute.

If you enjoyed the other movies in this series, you will like this one. Especially in IMAX.

Watched it. It's Final Destination but with the slightest of twists. It's got its fun moments like the others (the Rube Goldberg kills) but ya know... ultimately it's the same ol' shit where if you've seen one then you've basically seen 'em all. The series died for a reason... and it'd be smart to space out the sequels but they'll probably just milk the series dry like last time, especially given its current box office success.

Kimberly actually confirmed survivor, I'd actually forgotten that the woodchipper thing from Final Destination 3 was a deleted scene.

I enjoyed Bloodlines overall, but these movies have always had an over-reliance on killing characters by dropping things on them—and Bloodlines takes it to a whole new level that it almost turns the movie into a comedy. Most of the people in my theater were laughing at the deaths rather than squirming.

Watched it today, it's probably not as good as 1 or 2 overall but it would certainly be close. That opening scene is simply incredible, one of the best they have ever done.

There's a scene in the trailer that didn't make it into the movie.

Tony Todd's character was handled better than I could have ever expected.

Could a celling panel really kill? Final destination would be as she fled the falling panel she trips over her own dumped popcorn bucket and falls out of a fire exit at the exact moment a steamroller is going slowly by.

I marathoned the series and watched the new one on opening night. It's really good (if you're into this sorta thing). One of the rare horror franchises where the two newest movies are actually the best one.

I can't believe they are still making these. I was there in 2000… It was a teen horror flick like a million others…

The last one before this came out 14 years ago, they actually let it breathe for quite awhile before bringing it back.

In my opinion the only one that is truly a bad movie is the fourth one ("The Final Destination").

The concept grew stale after the first two.

I can't imagine they've brought anything as novel to the table, this time.

No idea where I checked out on the franchise, but the original was such a great experience with the audience answering the question of "then who's next?" in unison. It's really the only thing I remember about that move or the series for that matter.

It also popularized the walking backwards talking *hit by bus* - trope.
