The twice-failed presidential contender, who recently flirted with a third run, is gearing up to enter the ring once again, but this time it's a boxing ring.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield will go head-to-head with the former Massachusetts governor for a charity event in May, it was recently announced.

"It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious," Romney recently told the Salt Lake City Tribune.


The event's unlikely pairing aims to raise money, ideally through corporate sponsorships, for the non-profit group Charity Vision which fights blindness worldwide.

"We just thought it would be a lot better to provide this kind of entertainment rather than just have dinner and listen to speakers," Romney said.

Huh? I mean, I doubt Evander will really put a beating on him. But this is bizarre as hell.

Holyfield is still in crazy good shape too.
