Expected now that Jeb stepped down. His donors and people who were waiting things out before they gave their endorsement are going to go in Rubio's direction. Only problem at the moment is Trump. He'll still dominate until either Kasich and/or Carson drop out + Cruz.

Honestly I'm really hoping Rubio gets the nomination despite the fact that I would never vote for him. I just can't stand the idea that one of these other jokers could possibly be president.

Rubio will get traction because he basically was handed the Republican 101 talking points manual. He's extremely by-the-book and will do whatever they tell him to do. When it will be him VS Trump, it will all be about how Rubio is Reagan's reincarnation and Trump is an angry Democrat.
I hope Rubio wins, because he would lose to Clinton for sure. The usual Republican talking points can't get a candidate to win the GE.

Cruz would be so much better, almost the same Republican arguments plus a strident rhetoric which only works for a small portion of the electorate. Factor in his natural unlikeability and he's done for. It's a shame he plateaued already.

What do you guys mean about not being able to wait for Trump to call Rombey a loser? He has been calling out Romney since just about day one. It's one of the main points golf his campaign.

Trump needs to repeat that line. The reason why Trump sees such monstrous support is partly because of Romney with all his superpacs and being a typical establishment republican losing to Obama. It's going to help no one. They still dont get it. This might be an albatross around Rubio's neck depending how aggressive Trump is.

Republicans finally came to the realization they should have came to about half a year ago. Rubio is -by far- their best shot at winning the white house. A Rubio - Haley ticket would honestly be pretty difficult for the Dems to beat.

This doesn't help Rubio. It hurts him in a three-way field with Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, in today's political environment.

Rubio is anti-LGBT (opposes same-sex marriage and probably wouldn't do anything at the federal level to stop anti-LGBT discrimination), is anti-abortion (in all cases, including rape), disregards our environment, wants to throw away progress made with Obamacare (who needs health insurance anyway?), and thinks people making minimum wage should just stay right where they are (pull up those bootstraps!).
He's also the most electable Republican candidate in the general election, according to the polls.
Rubio, and not Trump, is the man who I think we should be most concerned about.

With WAlker and Bush out of the race, Rubio is the only chance the GOP has at not losing in Nov. Kasich would be a good VP choice for Rubio.
Of course, Rubio needs to actually wins some states first.
