MLB 2015 Regular Season |OT2| NES Baseball, Best Baseball

Can we talk about how good Polanco is shaping up to be?
He's really come a long way from early in the season.

Wish Soler could be as good or seemingly consistent.

Never noticed the Zelda music at Dodger stadium before

edit: wow lucky break for the Cubbies. Why didn't Donnie challenge?

Despite a questionable double play, Dodgers lead 4-1. Good enough for me, and the Cardinals have tied up the Giants. Woo!

edit: And of course Scully returning next year in the Dodger booth for the 67th year is awesome! :)

How can a pitcher as good as Kershaw fail against the Cardinals in literally every postseason game he faces them?

Bumgarner vs Kershaw shouldn't even be a conversation, and yet it is because of that one fluke matchup.

At least the back-to-back Bumgarner/Kershaw bullshit is over now. Rodney didn't look too bad, hopefully some Bosio magic at work.

While this is true, they need to be able to beat this level of starting pitchers if they want any chance in the playoffs. Frustrating they couldn't compete the last couple games. It would also be nice if the Cards or Pirates would lose a fucking game for once. (Although at this point we want the Cards to beat SF)

I agree it would be nice, but in a playoff scenario we'd also have Lester/Arrieta matching up against these guys so at least it would be a tighter ballgame overall. On the plus side, Lester and Arrieta for rest of the weekend to get some wins!

The Braves season just needs to end ASAP.

I know they played way over their heads for a while, but damn, if the bullpen hadn't been such ass in May/June, they could have easily been 5-10 games over .500 at one point and leading the division before the Mets finally pulled it together. They stuck around at .500 until that last series before the All-Star break where the Rockies swept them in 4 games. That was the beginning of the end.

Dickey looked good last night, and the rest of the team played well. It was a good win, outside of that Gose (GOSE!) home run.

That asshole, lol.

Encarnacion with a nice hit streak. When somebody slumps, somebody else is hot so the Jays offense keeps rolling.

I'm still old schoolin' and thinking Revere should be leading off now that he's heating up. He's got a wonky swing but he can really rack up the hits when he's on. Just seems his speed would be better utilized leading off instead of 7th. Don't want to mess with 2 3 4, but Tulo batting 5th would be better protection for EE than a catcher. Just sayin'.

Is the Trop the worst venue among the four major North American team sports?

Candlestick and the Nassau Coliseum got phased out so those are two of its big competitors gone.
