fuck you red Sox and fuck you Yankees.
Which is why I laugh at some of the mets posts in the thread. This is a different team. Have proven that countless times in the past month. Even on games when the lose (like the Marlins), they still fight back.
Ogando = Automatic L
Sorry Yanks, we're not all blessed with GOAT bullpens
they are this year's A's
But the A's made the playoffs last year.
Honest question...could cespedes win NL MVP?
no, unless Harper turns into a pumpkin for the rest of the season and Cespedes goes on a tear
In terms of most value though, look at what the Mets have done post-cespedes.
I'm down with this because it means Dodgers first round exit!Cubs-Mets NLCS sounds fun.

This year's 2013 Blue Jays might be more appropriate... lol
If the Tigers were in the NL Cespedes would have an argument.
A month and 8 days does not an MVP make. Still clearly Harper.
Hadn't actually looked at Harper's numbers hard in a while but holy shit Bryce Harper
He's not even 23 either
How you bring up Cespedes over Goldschmidt? smh
Honest question...could cespedes win NL MVP?
and isn't Votto having a better season than Goldy too?
Those rosy Mets colored glasses. How you bring up Cespedes over Goldschmidt? smh

Is this the year Braves fans get their wish? Will they rid themselves of the human slug known as Fredi Gonzalez? The Braves have been officially eliminated from the NL Wildcard
Clown as fuck question bro.
I think because the Matt Williams is steering the Nationals into hell people seem to have this perception that Bryce Harper has tailed off too, but he's having a season for the ages (especially considering his age). If you are just going by offensive numbers, he's having a better season than Mike Trout has ever had, and you probably have to go back to prime Pujols or pre-steroids Bonds to find a season like this. He's the runaway MVP.
He has a BB% of 20.5%... and a K% of 18.3%
Can't say I expected Votto to come back like this, well, ever
If you've been reading I checked Harper's stats and agree he is the clear cut MVP, having a remarkable season. As for the Goldy and Votto arguments, I don't think that's so clear cut (diamondbacks are 6 games below .500 and the reds are one of the worst teams in the MLB). Regardless, harper is going to win it so the discussion isnt necessary.
I'd go to games in Toronto any day over the morgue that is the new Yankee Stadium.
Talk about a place that has no personality. All that heritage, all that passion, and all that money and they make that?
Why wouldn't he come back? One down year doesn't spell doom for a hitter. Look at Tex and A Rod beasting at their old age. Votto is relatively young.

They didn't even fire him after 2011, they won't fire him anytime soon.Is this the year Braves fans get their wish? Will they rid themselves of the human slug known as Fredi Gonzalez?
No not much. Since Anaheim is local he'll announce themMr. Scully doesn't do road games much anymore does he?
He's always been the Dodgers MVP.
