It's weird, Reds TV ratings are through the roof, I think they're #1 in baseball. But for some reason it hasn't translated to big crowds at the ballpark. Attendance has been much better lately though hopefully it stays that way.
You DO realize that they can now trade him to one to the 15 teams he can't use his limited no trade clause to, right?Carlos Lee can go f himself. Clearly he has no desire to win even for 3 months out of his life. Lets hurt a franchise in a tank/rebuilding mode, even after they overpayed your fat ass and you have been shitty most of the contract.

He can get shipped to a bottomfeeder now.

It sucks for you Astros fans but doesn't he really love that area?
Who would love houston?
Isn't Houston like the Anti-Texas?
Austin seemed pretty Texasy to me. Lots of hats, flags, boots, and fat people. You are thinking of Austin. Austin is pretty awesome.

Gonna need all the runs we can get with Freddy starting. Even if he pitches well, he will be on a pitch limit
Alright, Freddy got through an inning with no runs allowed, take him out now please.
Take him out for Wade? lol
That was Bautista's fault.Fucking trash
He wants to get back in the lineup after the All-Star break. We'll see if that happens.wait Kemp is going to participate in the HR Derby even though he's missed the last 2 months with a fucked up hammy?
Go watch Cashner's last start. Can someone explain to me why the Padres traded Anthony Rizzo?
There's a $2.9 million cap on international spending.Wats the new rule for LA signings?
Can someone explain to me why the Padres traded Anthony Rizzo?
I would be really surprised if he's on the market.Braves are gonna trade for Samardijakasjda after this game based purely on this one start.
Samardzija is clowning the Braves right now and he's doing it with awful pitches. He's already hung tons of breaking pitches and everything is up. Yet the Braves have done nothing.
he pitched pretty well against us in Chicago too.Braves are gonna trade for Samardijakasjda after this game based purely on this one start.

The D-Train is officially off the tracks.
Dontrelle Willis has officially announced his retirement from baseball at the young age of 30.
Willis will finish with a career 72-69 record and a 4.17 ERA over 9 Major League seasons with the Marlins, Tigers, Diamondbacks, and Reds. He was elected to the All-Star team twice (2003, 2005) and was the 2003 NL Rookie of the Year.
He signed with the Phillies to a 1-year, $1 million Major League deal to be a lefty out of their bullpen, but performed so poorly he was cut in spring training. He was then signed to a Minor League deal by the Orioles.
After going 0-3 with an 8.53 ERA for AAA Norfolk in one start and three relief appearances, trouble arose in late April as Willis requested his release and left the team. Orioles GM Dan Duquette placed Willis on the restricted list because he did not authorize him leaving the team.
Originally drafted by the Cubs in the 8th round of the 2000 draft, he was traded to the Marlins on March 27, 2002 with Jose Cueto, Ryan Jorgensen, and Julian Tavarez in exchange for Antonio Alfonseca and Matt Clement.
He debuted with the Marlins in May 2003, helping the Marlins to their second World Series win in franchise history and winning the 2003 NL Rookie of the Year. His finest season came in 2005 with the Marlins. He went 22-10 with a 2.63 ERA in 34 starts. He was selected to the NL All-Star team again and finished second in the NL Cy Young voting behind Chris Carpenter of the Cardinals. He lead the Majors with 7 complete games; 5 of them were shutouts (also tops in the Majors).
He looked to be building himself a great career until he mysteriously dropped off starting in 2007, his final season with the Marlins. Willis went 10-15 with a 5.17 ERA that year and led the Majors with 118 earned runs allowed.
Despite his poor season, he was still pursued heavily in the offseason knowing the Marlins were looking to trade he and Miguel Cabrera. On December 4, 2007, Willis and Cabrera were sent to the Tigers in an 8-player trade that sent a package of Burke Badenhop, Eulogio De La Cruz, Cameron Maybin, Andrew Miller, Mike Rabelo, and Dallas Trahern to the Marlins.
Willis never regained the form that made him seem like a perennial All-Star from 2003-2006.
Baseball Reference approximates Willis made $41 million during his career.
Go watch Cashner's last start.
Wade got demoted
So everyone celebrating? Gotta be a good sign
