He had one fluke season. This is the real Ubaldo, the one the Rockies knew before trading him.
Looked like he was sitting 93-94 tonight. Just shit location.

About par for the course with him. He isn't consistent at all, and they made such a fuss when we got him a few years ago.
Didn't follow his last start, but against the Yankees last week his FB topped out at 91.5 and he was absolutely terrible

He actually had two really good seasons sandwiched around an injury-ruined one. What really happened was he lost velocity on his fastball so nothing else fools anybody. Almost exactly what happened to Tommy Hanson.

Someone on here tried to argue with me that they got an incredible deal on him. While none of the prospects dealt have turned out to be much, Ubaldo is just a shadow of anything he ever was.
He was also pretty good in 2009. His velocity has dropped in a major way and he is giving up the long ball which he never had a problem with from 2009-2011.

Well, Medlen was in the Cy Young conversation last year, so I wouldn't call him terrible. Probably average or slightly better now, though.
