Lol and Cobb didn't make it through the 5th.
First Rays starter this year to not make it at least 5 innings.

Lance Lynn has the highest ERA of all 5 of the Cardinals' starting pitchers. He's a bum.
2.72 ERA
5-1
3.09 FIP
43 IP
47 SO
16 BB
It's difficult, frankly, to decide who our "worst" SP is. By empirical standards it's almost certainly Jake Westbrook, who has a 1.62 ERA in 6 starts.

Gonna suck when that ol' bitch Regression starts to hit.
It certainly will on Westbrook. But Miller is the real deal, Wainright is too, and Lance Lynn is only modest overperforming his historic norms. We just have a fantastic rotation. The real "regression," if it hits, would be injury. The true miracle is having the 5 starters you expect to start the season actually start the season and then keep pitching without interruption.

West coast games suck so much. Another 45 minutes until start time.
Man.
That win the Angels had over Houston last night is going to be the beginning of their resurgence isn't it?
I see it's worked already against Chicago tonight.
yep.West coast games suck so much. Another 45 minutes until start time.
Cobb is also the first pitcher in the history of baseball to strike out at least 13 guys and not make it at least 5 innings.
Oh I was speaking directly about Westbrook. A 13 year career ERA in the 4's will not suddenly stay sub 2 is all.
Don't blow this Hughes.
EDIT: He blew it.
Damn it Chen.
