Pirates are up 2-1 bottom of the 7th, walk the first at-bat, go 2-0 next at better and choose to sacrifice bunt instead of trying to draw a 2nd walk on a pitcher who can't get a strike. What a weird decision.

Price got injured?

Sigh. Rays should have traded him in the offseason.

Losing him isnt the end of the world though since hes been so fucking terrible this year.

Serious question: are there any 30+ pitchers who still pitch 96+ MPH? It seems like MPH for pitchers is like running speed for hitters.

I assume you mean touch 96+ and not sit 96+. Randy Johnson was averaging 94.5 on his fastball in 2002 (39 y.o.) so I assume he could've dialed it up to 96+ for a few pitches.

Not sure if there are any active pitchers that fit your criteria. Back in 2007, A.J. Burnett averaged 95+ on his fastball as a 30 y.o.

Offense looks to be waking up. Good to see, since every series win helps. Can't afford to get swept out in the Bronx again though.
