funniest thing of the week might have been vampire hunter diego sanchez sprinting out to the octagon with that silver plated cross.

and that was a fun scrap. a lot of these milquetoast fighters in the ufc could learn a thing or 2 from diego. guy is always in fucking fun fights.

Great night of fights, another card that delivers with no expectations.

Sanchez proves that a win isn't everything when you fight with all you've got and put on a hell of a fight.

Also per Dana, all main events will be 5 rounds going forward... The already signed bouts for FX and Fuel will probably still be 3 though.

diego doesn't get enough credit. sure forrest/bonnar was great but seeing diego come out of tuf and putting on outright wars with guys like nick diaz and karo made me a fan. those slams, rolls, and work rate in those fights are far more exciting than this era of point fighting.

create a fight night title for diego.

yeah, pussy of jake not to call out condit. maybe there's enough out cry for the ufc to set up a 5 round jake/diego rematch. jake really looked hurt before diego mauled him on the ground in the 3rd. condit is waiting on gsp anyway.

Diego at 170 makes about as much sense as Penn at 170. I dont know why they do this stupid weight change bullshit just because they lose a title shot.

I missed the whole damn event due to over sleeping, a combo of a bad sleeping schedule plus classes in the morning. And to add to it, i didn't get my picks in on time :(

Just caught up watching some of the fights, looked like an entertaining event, with Diego bringing the crazy as usual.

2 guys fighting will never be classy, so they just don't try.

Sexy octagon girls struting around half naked letting everyone know what round it is.... that's the real ticket to bringing in the upper class. Can't have ex softcore porn stars trashin up the joint.

Also, for the fantasy sherdog picks, is there any way to just see specific event standings in the pool? that's all I care about since the overall standings seem meaningless unless you've been picking every event.

I think it's rubbish that they fired her. Her "porn" career was very short lived, it appears she only did maybe two or three photoshoots, and those were barely more intense than Playboy.

Just saw an article on mmajunkie how Dana is giving a resounding 'no' to the idea of bringing Sylvia back:

If they knew she did porn, she wouldn't have gotten hired in the first place. Not the first time someone's work history came back to bite them in the ass.
