Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans S2TEKKADAN is MURDERERS, HAIL GHALLARJORN

Everyone in this show is a piece shit.

My ranking is

Rustal > PedoDad > Mcgillis > Orga > Iok > Gaelio > Maced Gangster guy > Bearded earth guy as far as being assholes go this season.

I want Julieta is the only one I even want to die though, god is she annoying.

I'd say as long as my baby Barbados lives I'm all good, but tbh I have nowhere near the love for the lupus rex as I had for the lupus.

I'm assuming Maced Gangster Guy is Jasley and Bearded Earth guy is Galan Mossa, yes? If so i'll respect that you feel that way, but disagree that Gaelio is a bigger "piece of shit" than:
- Galan who manipulated Takaki & the Tekkadan kids who believed in him
- (and by extension worse than Radice who set them up in the first place, purely because he saw the Tekkadan boys as below him)
- or Jasley who:
- Set up Naze + the Turbines (it was him who convinced Iok to go after them in the first place).
- Exposed the covert routes Teiwaz/Turbines use to Gjallarhorn to further betray them.
- Tried to then bait Tekkadan at the funeral by mocking the dead
- Then had Lafter killed for the sole purpose of baiting them again, while also planning to implicate his mentor McMurdo to usurp his position at the top of Teiwaz.
- Also uses human debris/child soldiers.

A reminder of back in ep 29 when the shoe was on the other foot...

I was also gonna skim a few other eps for all of the "anyone who is in our way is our enemy / we'll crush them all" type quotes, as well as Mika & Orga's "I'll take you there even if its hell / I'll kill as many as it takes if it gets me to your destination" speech — but I cba after this tbh.

They killed the leader and let the rest live?

So exactly what Orga asked for from rustal?

Galigali was a shit in season 1. And he could have ended this before it all began in season 2 when mcgiller was looking at bael and saved god knows how many lives, he also serves a monster. And he's automatically worse because he acts like he's some decent guy on some high horse but naw he's still an asshole.

Jasley was a mafia man doing what mafia men does. Naze was in the mafia too, he got what he signed up for.

Galan just manipulated the easily manipulable and was just doing a job.

The plot armor of the enemies has been too strong in this season 2. Author is punishing Orga greed for happy ending too hard compared to season 1. Season 2 for me at the moment is dragging and not moving enough forward compared to season 1.

Orga didn't kill the rest because he was limited by what the McGillis/Gjallarhorn connection could cover up for them. When Tekkadan has been able to act freely, they've had no qualms about leveraging their brutality to overwhelm without remorse.

- from cockpit crushes (one of many, many, many cockpit crushes)
- or shots point blank into a cockpit if you prefer.
- to splattering a guy outside a cockpit
- to attacking soldiers that were resting/not armed
- to cutting up other kids with pincer attack

Don't for a second think that TK are any bastion of leniency, mercy or restraint. If you need a reminder of that re-watch their zealous (hypocritical) mindset after Biscuit died, or any time they've mentioned "Anyone in our way is our enemy and we'll crush them”, or the last episode for a reminder:

Wait... so Gaelio is more of a piece of shit because he didn't execute a guy at point blank that would have "saved many lives", —a ruthless action for an overall positive benefit— ...while Rustal who is willing to take those same types of ruthless actions for overall benefit, is a "monster"?

Over S1+S2 you see Gaelio develop from a wide eyed, yet naive rich kid who looked down on the Tekkadan kids, to a composed/focused man who sought answers over blind action in his revenge, and then was willing to apologise for how he was before. If you want to ignore that and just write him off as a shit then thats fine, but its there in the footage.

By comparison, what has changed in any character in Tekkadan? Any one of the named protagonists? What lessons have they learned from their mistakes? And where is it taking them?

The only real answers you'll find are Hush, who folded and lost whatever drive he had.
Akihiro who decided he would say more, so he wouldn't feel any regrets, but balanced out by becoming more savage in combat, and Takaki who (wisely) said "OK, I'm out". but Orga? Mika? nothing.

Jasley was a mafia man doing what mafia men does. Naze was in the mafia too, he got what he signed up for.

Galan just manipulated the easily manipulable and was just doing a job.

"Jasley wasn't really a piece of shit, he was just doing the things a piece of shit does for his own benefit. Its Naze's own fault he got betrayed, and he shouldn't have gotten involved wth him in the first place"

^ You're comparing a surprise attack to killing people who've surrendered, not remotely the same. Which Mika does do (mafia man, white haired freaky chick, cranknii etc) because he's a psychopath.

I never said Rustal would be a monster if he killed choco directly, that would actually be infinitely better than the shit he's done.

If you lay with insects don't be surprised if you get stung.

Damn, a child was possibly brought into the world thanks to a Gundam. Mika has done more than Setsuna ever will.

And I'm just going to call Kimaris Vidar, Vidaris from now on.

Whoever said that Setsuna didn't send down his pollens to impregnate Marina?

Due to the size of that space flower, I think he might have impregnated a few thousand more women than intended.

Edit:

The weather today is a bit harsh. Pollens of Mr. Setsuna F. Seiei is expected to rain down from 9am until sundown. We advise people to take care.

McGillis is worst of all time Last Boss Pilot.

How incompetent can you get?

But I can't blame him, you can't beat AT Field.

Azee I know you're suffering from PTSD and everything, but that look isn't you and you're no boss.

Amazing, Orga got fucked.

RIP Unicorn Shiden.

Just kidding we'll go see the Unicorn Shiden next week.

Ride you really don't deserve to pilot that but whatever.

Iok really has to be one of the best Gundam characters in recent years in terms of development.

Orga Shino Augus, are you really naming your kid that....

Interesting to see McGillis try to go through Mika after seeing that he can't manipulate Orga anymore. I was hoping to see what he had up his sleeve, but now I just suspect that he might have been planning to do a runner @ TK's expense if shit looks worse for him.
Or perhaps it it may even be him who had Orga taken out so he can regain his influencing position?

Would you guys look at that! The good actions of Tekkadan came back to help them!

Of course now that we had some good moments for Tekkadan we just couldn't have a good ending! At least Orga did good at the end by assuring a possible future for Tekkadan and protecting Ride. He died with a cool last speech too. Altough seeing Ride and Chad crying at the end was super hard.

I now have some hopes for everyone, great episode! This was much more in line with what I want out of a gundam ending then the bleak ending that seemed so in line to happen before.

+1 for Takaki. Happy to see him doing well.
-10000000000000000000 that the worst character of all time, Iok, seems to have again survived...just kill him already!

- Iok - holy crap. he got a moment of badassdom. Rustal raised him well. They grow up so fast!

- This show kind really loves blood-soaked eyes.

- So that kiss pretty much confirm the threesome occurred? Is Kudelia pregnant?

- Seeing McG bluntly call out Tekkadan for being a directionless force of chaos is kinda hilarious, not just because it's true but because McG himself represents the Chaos Route in SMT. It's like having the Empire chastise you for blowing up too many planets.

- "Oh shit, there's three of us with automatic weapons and only one of them, armed with a pea-shooter. RUN AWAY~~"

- Really thought the car was going to explode. Everything, from the composition of the shot, was more suited for explosion.

Would you guys look at that! The good actions of Tekkadan came back to help them!
Help them
*episode ends with things going FUBAR*

You're killing me, smalls. XD

50/50 the tunnel ends up collapsing on them.

Fuck this shit. :(

Edit: I'll bet this is because of Macky.

- I'm still in the Kudelia "loves" them both and will watch over them from a distance camp tbh

- At first I thought Nobliss/Rustal. but the I realised that didn't make sense because they are far away and have no idea that Orga even left the base. They weren't spotted by any Gjallarhorn forces and they go out of their way to mention that there aren't any soldiers in the city.

So the only person who even knew they would be off-compound (let-alone where they would be and when), is McGillis... And as we've seen, removing leading figures to usurp their power/position is a favoured tactic of his.

Everyone is still heading for a bad end because McG will take over TK and he doesn't really give a shit about anyone under him as a cost if it means he can get what he wants.

Their death flag is also raised because the writers have decided to keep pregnant Atra on Mars where she will be "safe".

All that Ride happiness and that Takaki, I have a feeling were going to get some super happy ending. Im glad joy keeps coming to them.
Also that he was protected yet again, thank you Orga for saving him. Though I dont necessarily think Orga is dead just yet

McGillis conversing with Mika was very interesting, what will Mika do when he parts ways with him, does he even know what he wants in life? Sad.

Preview
if McGillis made it to space, tekkaden escape plan must have actually been successful;

Raise your
death
flag!

The moment Mika gave Orga his gun... then coupled with the empty city and long ass hallway walk... yup. See you later, King of Mars.

So the only person who even knew they would be off-compound (let-alone where they would be and when), is McGillis... And as we've seen, removing leading figures to usurp their power/position is a favoured tactic of his.

Dude was already trying to poach Mika earlier, so this'll make it so that they ride or die "with" him. Tekkadan will be pretty dangerous with Mika leading the charge with all the Barbados Lupus Rex "King of Wolves leading the pack" allusions and inheriting Orga's will. Of course this at least assists Choco's current situation regardless.

Mika isn't a leader. not even close. I actually found McGillis' deconstruction of him in line with my own thoughts on why he never clicked for me as a Gundam protagonist.

Eugene is the closest thing they have, but as I said a few weeks back, he's the one who handles the day-to-day leadership while Orga is the "big speech" motivational-type leader. That's not a knock on Eugene, his attributes/personality are just different. McGillis knows he is the closest thing they will have to another motivational-type, and will leverage that along with a "don't you hate those who killed your friends" v2 + "this is a battle on your home ground" v4 to fire them up.

Note the suits.

Didn't think about it till someone else pointed it out. Macky seems like the obvious choice but there's other players here.

Macky could have approached him, especially since he just fucked off and didn't tell a soul what he was going to be doing.

The moment Tekkadan heard the news of Orga death, you can bet ur arse, most of Tekkadan is going to choose to commit suicide charge rather than run away.

Many of the member simply follow what Orga wanted. And now when Orga have fallen, the only voice they probably can heard is Eugene and as we know, Eugene is not the smartest tool there so we probably heading toward all dead flag.T_T

This script is complete bs. Almost on cue characters get killed off, only the slightest of buildup and for pointless reasons. You can tell the writer just wants this series wrapped up in X episodes. Killing off Orga achieves what exactly?

This whole Atra garbage and main characters dying is really putting a damper on my opinion of this series.

What? I dont think so, they didnt charge in once Shino went MIA so I doubt they will do it here. They could easily flee saying its what Orga fought and died over, making a way for them all.

They won't. I'm pretty sure they will still run away. At least most of them.

Ehh? I actually see Orga dieing is quite fitting him there. I mean, he is naive enough to believe that his planned "would just work" there.^^ Hell, his member even still uses that Tekkadan uniform lol. They literally had zero plan after all this shit

I don't really can comment on that Atra and Kudelia portion lol. As even though it is cheesy, i do like some light hearted moment there.^^(That Chad face lol.^^)

I was thinking sniper. But yeah just everyone walking around with those jackets on? Sheesh. Hope Atra will finally take it off.

This plan seems fucking stupid.

I didn't expect Orga to die, I thought they were going to pull a "everyone dies but him" ending. Though it was obvious it was going to happen in the last 5 minutes, exact same setup as Lafter.

Also fucking Ride, this is the second Tekkadan that has to cover for him. LAST EPISODE WILL BE ATRA'S BABY TAKING A DAMN BULLET FOR RIDE.
