So if you are going to the Portland Retro Gaming Convention look for it apparently. Take a few photos. Since I am a few miles (Chicago) away haha

Should be fun to experience since it's based on the already outstanding MiSTer FGPA N64 core we already have but will be getting some improvements along the way

so what's the difference between this and a mister fpga? would the core run on the mister or do you need to buy this thing?

the core maker from MiSTer, FPGAZumSpass, is taking that core and putting it on M64 with improvements. There are a few little dangling issues on MiSTer due to memory bandwidth / latency that cannot be solved. So M64 will have a larger FPGA chip without the memory bottlenecks currently being experienced

If those fixes can then be backported to MiSTer that is being allowed as itll be open source is the word

sent someone to the expo

In your latest video on the M64, obviously it's difficult to compare to Analogue 3D, because the M64 isn't out yet.

The one thing I'd disagree with in the video. You were discussing it was all about the insides of the machines. However, truth be told the Analogue 3D is just an extremely well made design and beautitul machine .I can't speak to the build quality of the M64. I also can't speak for everyone's personal taste. The M64 is definitely going for the N64 fun colours. Analogue going for a more modern take inlign with their past several releases .

But to me the design of the Analogue shell is leaps ahead of the M64. Expecially if you place it next to an MG, Super NT, Pocket, NT Noir (Still wish they would remake this to their current looks and plugs).

Analogue just feels extremely premium even before opening the box. Obviously price is key for some people. M64, gives off the toy vibes (not always a bad thing).

Anyhow keep up the good work, any word on our friend Alejandro?
