O.O, that's highway robbery!
I guess that demand & supply for ya

Eteric Rice said:Well, its like this.
1. TeamSpeak or Vent would be easier to use.
2. Only one person has to get the vent server, then everyone can use it.
Instead of everyone having to go out and buy Wii Speaks.![]()

Ooo, I didn't know about this. Is this an American deal?
Yeah, this is one of the things I'm very excited about, so I'm quite unhappy that some people are suggesting to use a different solution when the voice system is right there under their noses. The very last thing I want to see are people saying I should join this or that channel on my PC while I'm playing MH3 behind my TV. I would seriously be like: WTF, are you for real? Actually, I would just shout it through my Wii Speak then xDsammy said:man oh man, I hope Wii-speak opens up a whole new level of MH strategy. Teaming up in the past was all about no communication and just keeping an eye on your brothers hoping you guys were all on the same page.

Seraphis Cain said:Yeah seriously. There's far better chat solutions than WiiSpeak out there. Personally, myself and the group I'll be playing with will all be Skype'ing while we play.
You're almost like... pro friend codes with that statement. Capcom provides real online... people suddenly want friend code anonymity :lolSammy Samusu said:I'm not trying to ignore Wii Speak support (thanks Capcom!), it's just PC chat will be easier for me. I have a pre-order group and some are getting Wii Speak because they don't have a Wii and PC in the same room.
And of course, my mom don't have to listen my friends saying shitty things, Nintendo has to know that they have 18yo+ fans too. :/
We will be playing together before you know.Soneet said:You're almost like... pro friend codes with that statement. Capcom provides real online... people suddenly want friend code anonymity :lol
You guys.. xD
Don't make me hate you ._.
Silver_DNA said:I went to my local Gamestop to grab the demo, but the lady at the counter said I had to preorder the game in order to get it. I thought they were just giving away demos and the preorder bonus was 500 Wii points.
Hero of Legend said:What about a wireless headset? There is such a thing I'm sure... isn't there?
Teknoman said:Nope. Either Wii speak, or keyboard time. Im looking forward to finally using wii speak...the thing has been sitting on my sensor bar since Animal Crossing.

Eeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh!?
Isn't picking that Wii Speak box while you're in the shop buying Monster Hunter Tri much easier than having to communicate on the PC first so everyone gets in the TS or Vent server (maybe even installing software), leaving the PC on, trying to make sure you have a mic that leads from the PC to your couch, just far enough so you can play on the TV? Not to mention all those with Wii Speak are gonna curse at you for being stubborn.
It's not easier, at all. At all! Not making sense :O
Suppose too! I knew those bitches would pull this shit.Silver_DNA said:I went to my local Gamestop to grab the demo, but the lady at the counter said I had to preorder the game in order to get it. I thought they were just giving away demos and the preorder bonus was 500 Wii points.
yeah, I picked it up in a Minneapolis Best Buy yesterday.Eteric Rice said:Ooo, I didn't know about this. Is this an American deal?

ZealousD said:People should definitely call their local GameStops. We got our demos today too.
Yeah, you're suppose to give them away. She was probably just making an assumption, the demos were sent with basically zero instructions. Every other demo offer that's been sent to GameStop in the past couple of years have been preorder-only, so it's not unreasonable to make that assumption.
Im afraid i dont understand. Do you like pass the controller around in your online gaming sessions to friends? Ive always preferred a head set so that other dont hear what some anonymous people online are saying. But to each his own. Gonna try and grab the demo disc ASAP.Willy105 said:Wii Speak is a lot better than a headset because you don't have to wear the thing and everybody in the room can use it as one.
Also, it's incredibly cheap now since only three games so far use it.

ravien56 said:So is the demo gonna be available in Canada?
I could see myself calling gamestop tomorrow and the fucking retards saying Uhhh what's a monster hunter? Wait lemme look in mah computer...no I'm not seeing any demo disc...would you like to pre order?Bentendo said:Yup. But only in the United States and Canada. Europe and Australia don't get it.
Raven56 said:Just called...I'm in Ontario and the lady said with regards to the demo disc...she's heard of plans but nothing on her system so she's not saying for sure then went on to say the game is coming out April 6:/
Hero of Legend said:Why not just put down the $5 minimum pre-order charge and get it back if you don't like the demo if you have to pay?
Quite possibly it's a mistake. "Ironbeard McCullough's" Facebook page pretty much indicates that it's not supposed to be released until the 8th. He even termed my getting it a "mixup"...BertramCooper said:Wait, I thought that the demo wasn't going to be available until the 8th. I'm confused.
Do all of the Gamestops have them now, or just some of them?
Tenbatsu said:I am so happy people are pushing up my thread instead of me:lol I was like posting updates to myself back then.
Not mine...BertramCooper said:Wait, I thought that the demo wasn't going to be available until the 8th. I'm confused.

I thought we were discussing EB Games/GameStop Canada. If you're talking about amazon.ca, what's up with $59.99 for MH3 vanilla?Shiggy said:
Is there a link somewhere on the site?Teknoman said:Hell yeah. Monster Hunter 3 time tomorrow evening. Does the demo have an online mode?
EDIT: You can get the demo mailed to you via the MH community site if you can wait.
