Monster Hunter Wilds expanded endgame content is launching sooner than expected, CAPCOM confirmed today.

On the series' official X profile, the Japanese publisher confirmed that the endgame expansion planned for September is coming with the 1.021 update launching on August 13. This new expanded endgame will include a new set of high-difficulty quests, new talismans with randomly assigned combination skills, which can be obtained as rewards for these quests, weapon balance adjustments, and more. As the new update is releasing later than intended, CAPCOM also confirmed that the Festival of Accord: Flamefete seasonal event and the current Free Challenge Quest will be available for an additional week, and will now end on August 13 instead of August 6 as previously announced.
