More Castlevania for GBA

I lost my HoD cartridge and haven't been able to replace it as it seems the castlevania gba games are now out of print. This is good news. HoD + Micro = greatness.
 
It would be great if it was HoD and AoS...not that there's anything wrong with CotM, but compared to the other two, CotM is much more easily obtained.

It's not like it matters to me, since I already have all of those games anyway. :) But for those who were unfortunate and missed out the first time around, this might be a great opportunity to pick up a couple of fine games in one shot!
 
Please be HoD and AoS, I can't find those games for fucking shit anywhere, and I'm wary of ebay with all the bootlegs. I've got Dawn of Sorrow but it sucks I missed out completely on Aria of Sorrow.

Indeed, I passed on both of those GBA games as I didn't play my GBA much. But with the redsign and the micro I find myself wanted to play GBA games more often.

i hope that aria of sorrow is one of the games. i never ended up buying it, and have regretted it ever since becaise its now impossible to find.

HoD would be a welcome bonus.
 
Anybody know who started this trend? Im thinking THQ?

I love it. Its hard to do Players Choice on GBA because of what the carts costs, so they do this instead.

Now finally, its not Spongebob, but decent games.

And anyway, most GBA games are "out of print" as soon as they come out.
 
I read somewhere here that there would be a HoD/AoS reprint in Japan... so, I'm guessing this is it...

Too bad it wont be out until 01/10/2006... :(

I have AoS myself. Just started a new game for extensive play with the Micro. Played through most of CotM and miss it (traded it for Metroid: Zero Mission). Never played HoD.
 
A cart with both Aria and Harmony would rock, but I don't know if Konami would do it... Just because the games are tough to find, doesn't mean Konami would be willing to sell 'em both together on the cheap.

Still, we can hope.

I'm hoping for that too...

I got today the copy I bought of AoS... it turned to be a bootleg (and a good one I must say -__- )... talk about being owned... Well, I had been searching for AoS for months I was pretty disappointed and mad, so I contacted the guy who sold it to me and he said he didn't know it was a pirated copy and he'll return my money (the guy is really a nice person so I guess everything will be fine then...)

I bought AoS yesterday, found a store which still had all the castlevanias. But it was expensive, CHF 79, that's about 60$!

If I knew about that 2 in 1... damn it!

i really hope they re-release outside japan, there is a bit too much text in them.
 
Anyone know if the reprinted JP GBA Konami games have any improvements? One guy on another forum claims that Gradius Advance has some new stuff to it.
 
I've never really been interested in the Castlevania series, but a decent double pack would certainly tip me over for me to get it.

I'll be getting around to buying the Rayman Advance / 3 GBA pack soon too. Much better choices than all those Nicktoon / Hot Weels packs I've seen.

HAS anyone but THQ done Double Packs? I'm not sure if THQ release the Rayman GBA pack or not. Theres a THUG and Some stupid Surfing game one I've seen around too.

Well, crap, I'm going to need to get that Sonic one. I've lost my copy of Sonic Advance :\

Anyone got a list of all the Double packs out or coming out?
 
Perfection would be CotM and AoS.

Harmony of Pissypants is awful, granted not as awful as NES/SNES Castlevania games. Mark your GBA with the blood of a lamb and passover this one.

I'd rather play it on the DS or SP WHERE YOU CAN FUCKING READ THE TEXT ON THE SCREEN.

The Micro is like the TurboExpress where the screen is so small you can't read the text in most games.

Fire Emblem and the Pokemon games have perfectly legible text. Nintendo isn't stupid.

He was replying to a comment about HoD's text being unreadable on a Micro, which he disagrees with and gave specific examples of text being perfectly readable on a Micro. Thank YOU for playing!
 
Text is perfectly readable on the Micro. I've tried it out with games containing some of the smallest text, and I didn't have a problem.

Yeah, I wear glasses too, btw.

Is the text on yor GAF page small or large? We've all been reading relatively small prints on PC monitors and elsewhere for a long time.

I didn't have to adjust my reading for the micro since the text size is about as large as the text you find in many websites, newspapers and magazines.
