I've been asked to find the LTD figures for Morrowind and Jade Empire...can anyone help?

I kind of need them in a hurry.

I know this isn't as sexy a topic as a white PSP, but hey...

(And no, Krome isn't doing a fantasy RPG, before you ask) :)

...unless.

What version of Morrowind is that for? There are 4 Xbox SKUs -- original, Platinum, GOTY, and GOTY Platinum (not to mention PC, but I assume you're talking about Xbox only because of Jade Empire).

that's only 2 skus @ retail because the platinum versions have the same UPC as the reg versions.

I hold sonycowboy responsible as he's sales-age's spokesperson.

:p

But I just looked at his 500K+ thread for Morrowind's number. It might be only one SKU, in which case it's probably the initial version.

let's just say that combined they sre > 900k and < 1M

I'm pretty sure I read an oblivion interview recently where they said morrowind has sold over 4 million copies, and that it was split pretty evenly between pc and xbox

The NPD numbers only cover North America

Looks like some negative word of mouth has killed off Jade Empire sales.

The game is good. 7.5/10 good. But I don't think it is 50 dollars good. I tried to trade it in but it is only worth like 12 bucks now so I'm holding onto it. Here is hoping Jade Empire 2 is a better fleshed out game.

It's 29.99 @ EBGames.

I don't think word of mouth killed it. I think hype sold it up front. It's just not a well known title, but the prerelease hype made sure all hardcore fans new about it.

Man, when I read the title of this thread I thought it was about limited edition Morrowind and Jade Empire action figures. I was like, "I must have these!" Sadly, I was quite disappointed after reading the rest of the thread... :(

I do. Usually games with that type of pre release hype don't falter like this after release unless there is a problem. Looks like a case of overhype before release and the game didn't live up to most peoples expectations.

Right, that's worldwide, all versions, all platforms, all localizations.

Silly me, I thought this thread would be about Morrowind Limited Edition Action Figures. :(
How sweet that would be having my Glass Armor-wearing Dark Elf or Creeper standing on my book shelf. :)

That's actually what I thought the original poster meant, too. I popped in to say, "Sorry, but there aren't any", unless you want to count the little pewter Ordinator figure that came with the Collector's Edition :)
