I dunno. Sub zero stabbed someone in the neck and used frozen blood to stab him again lol

Where’s Johnny cage

As far as a mortal kombat film can look, this looks as good as we can expect

What i don't get, is why are we following a completely unknown character..........makes no sense

At least it looks violent, which is a must

thats true there was a lot of blood in the trailer

but it still didnt feel that violent to me

i think my problem is with the execution of the violence, its too cartoon imo

Boring trailer, but looks pretty decent all things considered.

I'm so fucking tired of hearing that movie trailer percussion....

That was odd, I had to put in my credit card to prove I was an adult, never had to do that on Youtube before. As for the trailer, it looks awesome? I loved it when he turned his blood into an icicle midair. I now have high hopes for this one.

Looks like it'll be a fun watch. Looks much better than expected. Hopefully the gore lives up to the hype from that article on the movie a few months ago.

The cast are not as good as the original

Only Sub Zero and Sonya are ok to me

Lord Raiden, Tsung, Kano, Liu Kang look lame here feels like a costplayer

Got that message too, no way I'd enter CC details or scan an ID though. Balls to that. Very odd.

Reminds me of Power Rangers which was actually better than I expected. The dialogue sounds terrible but as a martial arts or fight film it'll ultimately be based around how they transition from battle to battle and the quality of the fight scenes.

Is this Cole Young guy a new character or does the MMA Cage fighter become Johnny Cage by the end of the film?

And so is the game.........
yeah but since this is a movie, it is going for a life-like version of mortal kombat

the worst thing i'm finding from the trailer is the goro design, looks so generic

the music even gives a kind of heroic power rangers vibe

the best thing i'm finding is subzero and scorpion, largely because they are being played by aged men

liu kang looks and feels so plain

oh well

if i were in charge of getting this made i'd hire tarantino to write and direct

Lame. Where's Robocop, the Terminator and John Rambo? :messenger_winking_tongue:

Seriously though, trailer wasn't that impressive aside from Hiroyuki Sanada kicking ass as Scorpion and Sub Zero showing off his deadly ice powers. But it's nice to see some gore for once. Who's bright idea was it to make a Mortal Kombat PG-13?

Tarantino loved to borrow from others in the past to build his career, yet still wouldn't be able to direct action and fighting for shit.

How do Warner and AT&T decide if this is worthy of a sequel or not? I'm pretty sure it won't be a critical award winning darling.
