Mortal Kombat X |OT| This is NOT a Brutality. This is a FATALITY

double jump

you haven't lived until a random little kid ask you "how do you make love".
madzin is a monster.
Been trying to learn papa khan because of him.

Been enjoying the EU streams more than the NA stuff lately.

Wow, KP2 is fucking terrible.

Two more guests, including fucking Alien, which was thrown around a lot and everyone said "surely they won't be that stupid."

No females. And the fucking Cyborgs.

Good for Bo' Rai Cho though. I wanted him. Rest of the pack can eat a dick for all I care.

Terrible KP2.

Where the fuck are Rain, Fujin, Sareena, and Skarlet.

Hope my PC can handle SFV.

They kept saying they wouldn't do previous DLC for this games DLC, so Rain and Skarlet got screwed over, not that I think SKarlet ever has a chance of returning, shame, she was a great character.

Sareena never had a chance.

Fujin though, I"m shocked he is not in. Especially after all the bitching, I would have figured he would be the MMH of MKX.
If we got Fujin instead of Leatherface, KP2 would have been perfect.

That's quite the creative solution to making a Xenomorph easy to develop in this game.

"Hey y'all, let's use Baraka!"

Pretty arbitrary lol, but I can see why they'd want to use a humanoid model, it'll eliminate a lot of work on trying to retool the model for the fatalities, plus they may not have the technical skill to animate a Xenomorph in a way that properly represents the creature in the first place.

I'm a bit disappointed that we don't get to see a massive feral alien leaping about, gnashing it's teeth, and lashing with its tail though. I'm sure this Xeno-Baraka will have some semblance of that, but not sure if it'll feel the same.

I suppose I should just wait and see before making any hard judgements, but I still do think it was pretty arbitrary--should've just added Baraka instead of this weird compromise.

I would have preferred a Shokan Xenomorph.

Now the game has two different characters with Tartakan blades, and neither are Baraka lol.

Agreed with the above - though I also agree with folks complaining about the lack of females in KP2 - I would've liked to have seen what they would've done with Li Mei too. But yeah, Leatherface aside, I think it's pretty decent. If we get some really awesome gimmick costumes (Ripley/Aliens pack?) and the new character skins (Takeda/Kung Jin, Cassie/Jacquie, Ferra Torr/Erron Black) and more than one new stage, should be pretty sweet.

Do people stil play this game? I feel like its popularity fizzled quickly, but maybe I'm just out of touch with the community.

It's super dead on PC.

Not sure how the consoles are holding up, but SFV will probably kill what's left of it.

I'm trying to get into this.

Is there some secret to doing dvorah's d/b+1 within a combo (in swarm queen mode)?
Is the timing just very strict?

What combo are you trying to do? As far as I can remember the only string you'll be able to combo into it normally is the last hit from 212.

I'm sure the DLC will help a bit, but unless they also patch the netcode, I can't see too many people sticking around.

It is just a miserable experience.

I don't know anything about the intricacies of netcode, but is it really possible to improve it to a significant extent once it's in the game? It's very much tied to the engine, isn't it?

It's just cancelling during 212 so not sure what you're doing wrong without seeing inputs. I'd say to make sure not to have any extra button presses in there since it'll mess it up.

While I'm at it, I'm also having a hard time with d/f+1 and R2 on the dualshock. Apparently using R2 takes out a meter bar but makes the move come out faster for use in combos.

Any specific way I'm supposed to be doing this?

Are you referring on getting the move to come out or the application of it? Meter burn moves in this are like mk9 instead of injustice, need to push 1 and block at the same time for the mb version of it to come out.

For it's use, use it as a hit confirm from f11. Leads to a lot of damage and corner carry. If you hit it midscreen you can dash either 4 or 5 times and still have time to combo after it.

I just got it to work.
Thanks!!

I can do combos now. :)

It's just the timing is a bit different from the way I'm used to doing combos in other games.

I'm pretty excited about it! I still play this game nearly every day, really want to see how Bo Rai Cho and Tri-borg play. Please let the Sektor variation be good...
