The game has to be exclusive to the platform and must have suffered in sales, reviews, or just a backlash from consumers... yet still be good.
I'll just do one game, but everyone can chime in with their game(s) of choice. Just one per platform though.
My pick: Kung Fu Chaos for Xbox.
The game is insanely fun whether you're playing single player or multiplayer. Production value was through the roof. You could tell that "Just Add Monsters" had a great time making the game. I played it again last night and was amazed at how well it has held up. One of the few Xbox games that is locked at 480i, but it still looks great on my 65" Mits. Great level variety with some fairly deep fighting mechanics. This was no button masher, but you didn't have to memorize moves for hours either.
There was a general backlash because of the stereotypical characters. Shao Tin (the in game director) wears coke-bottled glasses and speaks perfect broken Engrish. However, the game would have been bland without the outrageous characters.
