Most underrated game actor?

My money is on Mark Meer. I enjoyed him as shepard and back in the day femshep was all the rage.

I always heard how bad he was in mass effect but i always liked him. The female sheppard was considered superior by most but i liked him more. Funnily enough i saw him in a tabletop called la by night (which is a vampire the masquerade tabletop with various appearances from the game (terese, nines etc) and i didn't recognize him at all until i read it in the comments. He did a fantastic job there. I think he has range would love to see him in more stuff.

Chris Marlow.

He only voiced the Great Mighty Poo in the Conker games. Isn't even a voice actor. But did better than most actual actors in their entire careers :messenger_relieved:

The voice actors in From Software's Soulsborne games put in pretty consistently fantastic performances. I think most of them have been contracted from a UK company called Frognation. They all deserve acclaim, but if I had to pick just one to spotlight, it'd probably be Andy Gathergood, who voiced Laurentius the pyromancer as well as the Crestfallen Merchant you find in Sen's Fortress in DS1.

Whoever the actress was who played Yuko in Persona 3 Reload. THE most natural performance I've ever heard in a video game. She's just a side character and yet it came to mind immediately when I saw this thread.

I rarely pay attention to voice actors in games but her performance, voice and the character were unique and fantastic. Even the pain sfx and stuff like that sound like they have purpose behind them. This lady took the job very seriously, liked the story and it shows. Especially some of the later unhinged voice logs are intense.

Someone said Mark Meer who I agree with

Roger Craig Smith and John Dimaggio take my vote, RCS range is incredible, it always throws me that he plays Sonic, Chris Redfield, Captain America and the current Batman

Dameon Clarke.

You won't find a better villain than Handsome Jack and 90% of that was Dameon building it one dialogue line at a time without the character being on the screen.

Kevin Miller really nailed the voice for Sly Cooper. Overall the voice acting was surprisingly fun in the trilogy, Good casting choices.

To this date, my all time favorite voice acting job in a video game is Yennefer in Witcher 3. Perfect and unique in every way possible. Such a well written and well acted character.

Kazuhiro Nakaya (voicing Nishiki, dressed in purple) performance in this scene is astounding:
