Personally I have a moto g5s plus and I'm really happy with it. I would never spend more than £300 on a smartphone because I just browse/spotify/youtube/email so no need for a beast.
So I still won't upgrade to those but they look pretty good to me. Maybe by the time the G9 series comes out I'll be interested in an upgrade

The Moto G7 arrives packing a 6.2-inch Max Vision display which stretches across most of the phone.
On the rear is a 12MP dual-lens camera which now includes Smile Detection for instant photos when you're looking at your best
Under the hood, you'll find a Snapdragon 632 processor and 3,000mAh battery which can be turbocharged.
The Moto G7 arrives in two colours and is covered in Gorilla Glass for extra protection.
MOTO G7 PLUS - Price £269 • Release March 1st
The Moto G7 Plus is the most expensive and feature-packed of the three phones.
This larger device arrives packing a 6.2-inch Max Vision display which stretches across most of the phone.
On the rear is a 16MP dual-lens camera which also includes Smile Detection and better low-light capabilities.
Under the hood, you'll find a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery which can also be turbocharged to 12 hours of usage in 15 minutes
The Moto G7 Plus arrives in two colours, has Dolby sound and is covered in Gorilla Glass for extra protection.
