67 percent fresh 50 percent critic fresh (10 percent more than Batman begins!)! This movie looks like it could be good. Gonna go see it tommorrow. Looks like a good action flick. I hear some stuff may have been cut to make the movie PG-13 but that's ok. It'll be a good second viewing on DVD to see the R rated version1

I saw it last night. I had low expectations, but they were definately exceeded. The movie has nice humor, and satisfying action. Even the plot wasn't super horrible like the trailer maade it out to be. Worth seeing.

This movie looks like shit. I puke a little bit everytime I see one of the TV spots. It's totally made for starfuckers.

Even if the movie itself sucks, one can always find something redeaming in Angelina Jolie running around in tight clothes killing people....

I went to see it this afternoon. I thought it was decent, but probably not a second watcher until it's out on DVD. First half felt, not just slow, but a little oddly paced, not as much of the double life stuff you'd expect. It definitely picks up in the second half, good action, nice humour, and for a spy vs spy film they resist the temptation to go overboard with the plot.

Maybe it was just me but I felt the film screamed out for a little retro suave, art direction wise it felt like it could have done more at times.

The NY Post gave it like 2 stars, so that scared me, but then I see Ebert and a bunch of other sites gave it like 3 stars, so I may try to catch it, but what really annoys me was that I read this movie was supposed to be rated R, but because the studio wants the money they hacked into a PG-13 movie, so hopefully we can get an unrated edition DVD

That was just ManaByte's "insider info," stated as fact with no source, as usual. I doubt it.

Hmm.. I was going to see about going to the movies to see it but I think I'll just wait for the DVD to come out and rent it. I usually don't watch most movies more than once so if they do release an uncut DVD, I can just rent it. That way I wouldn't have to spend much money on it. Damn movie tickets being like $9. :( I hate wasting money.

There's a story out there that a hot sex scene with Pitt and Jolie was edited by the director, out of respect for Jennifer Aniston. :lol Seriously, who gives a fuck about her? Show us the damn scene...we all know it's gonna be on the DVD anyway.

Just came back from it. definetly the best movie i saw this year!

Almost every line in the movie was hilarious, and the action was pretty dam good. jolie had a few hot scenes that really made the movie good. Pitt is very very funny in this movie.

I saw it and rather enjoyed it. It was quite funny in places. It wasn't really anything spectacular, but I went in expecting it be pretty pretty stupid and rediculous....and came out with the impression it was stupid, redicululous, and a good bit of fun.

The wife and I just got home from seeing it... we both enjoyed it and I would probably buy it on DVD...

Of course the movie is far-fetched... but it was fun and they are both beautiful to look...

The wife and I both said they are probably the sexiest man and woman working in Hollywood...

Saw it last night with my wife and we both liked it, well she loved it and I thought it was pretty good. The humor was nice fit and the action wasn't too shabby. Perfect guy/girl movie.

I'm gonna see it this weekend. The chemistry seems to be phenomenal... and most every review is saying that's what drives the movie. But then I saw one guy on RT say that the chemistry sucked... SO I LAUGHED AT HIM! IN HIS FACE!!!

is the movie better than Tomb Raider or Fight Crub?

It's a LOT better than Tomb Raider(atleast the second, which I thought was awful. Never saw the first). Fight Club seems to be split between people that loved it or hated it. I personally really liked fight club, so I don't think it's quite as good. If you're in the camp that puts fight club in the same bracket as tomb raider though, it's safe to say you'll like it more.

It's as much, if not more a comedy than an action movie, though. The action was okay but there were parts that were extremely funny.

Just got back from it and I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in ages. Hilarious. Great chemistry. Great movie. Lots of fun. Can't wait to see it again.

The movie is pretty good and I like how it doesn't take itself too seriously which really adds to the "light" atmosphere of it. I wasn't expecting much so I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out.

this is in the same vein of Oceans 11/12 - very quick editing, extremely witty dialogue, completely unbelievable situations and an absurd finish. complete fluff, but i had a lot of fun for the near two-hour runtime.

two thumbs up.

Witty, great eye candy on a number of levels. Angelina Jolie's role is close enough to Lara Croft. But possibly even sexier. Very enjoyable, as above, two thumbs up!

I just loved it when "Express Yourself" kicked in :D :lol Crazy.

yeah, at the end there i thought it was gonna end ala butch cassidy and the sundance kid.

but the ending sucked. no real resolution. you don't know how they got to where they were at the end. wtf happened?

yea they showed the reflection of the big boss guy in the begining of the movie and you could tell they had something planned for him but then he never showed up again.

Well it might have been a little unresolved..but...

...they're problems with their respective firms ain't over, but we do know they got past their last "battle", and are now presumably still "on the run" so to speak. So I don't think it's unclear how they go there.. The counsellor at the end also mentions "future threats" etc. to further suggest this was an ongoing thing, I think. Room for a sequel? ;)

Are you serious dude?

"redid the house" = house being blown up

Nah...I think that was an in-joke between them. A reference to blowing the house to smithereens, not actually redoing the house and going back to live there! A throw back to the neighbour's reference to them "doing work on the house" when they called over with the police. Except they'd obviously done a little bit more "work" after that :lol

The biggest plothole I'm left with is, why, if both firms wanted their employees dead, they didn't just invite them into a backroom and do the job themselves a lot more quickly and efficiently. Unless that can be explained away..(?)

Enjoyable summertime flick...just don't spend any time thinking about the plot, since it doesn't make sense. Over-the-top action, great chemistry between the leads, and some memorably funny lines.

Angelina Jolie looks frickin' AMAZING in the movie, by the way. I'm not saying that it was worth the $8 just to ogle...or am I?

I got totally lost when they got into the elevator. They narrowly escape into the elevator only to arrive onto another floor full of gunmen, so they run back into the elevator and go back to the previous floor to take out all the men who are now hiding behind crates?
wtf?

I loved the movie, and so did my gf. My only gripe with the movie was the ending. I wanted more, and it just ended abruptly.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2 is almost obvious after an 18.3 million pull on the first day.
