I've loved Aphex Twin since 2014. I was alerted to him because Syro was coming out at the time, and in the reporting around his resurgence, I ran into some of the ambient tracks he'd made and loved them. But I bounced off the wild stuff like "Saint Michaels Mount"...until I smoked some weed and listened to it again lol. It rewired my brain forever and now Aphex Twin (and Squarepusher) are like catnip for me. I still cannot get enough of them. And I haven't smoked in years.
