My coworker thinks I'm stalking her because I found her home address on a website

Well, it's only March and I can safely say that GAF is on a roll in 2017. This is the sort of vintage, socially stunted idiocy that I thought had died where it went to go ly dow in bed, next to it's naked sister...and we didn't even need an illustration this time.

On topic, OP, get some help, man. If literally everyone is telling you that what you're doing isn't moral, ethical or socially acceptable, it might be worth approaching that idea with a sense of actual inquisitiveness and acceptance. Jesus :/

At some point, not sure when, I can safely say we have veered off the funny and entered the sad/disturbing territory

OP has a problem and the tragedy is that he is incapable of comprehending why. This is legit terrifying. He needs to seek help both for his sake and other people's.

Oh god I feel your pain OP.

The worst is when you creep her out by accident. Its a bit like when I tracked down a Twitch Streamers real identity by cross referencing her screenname to a cache of her xanga blog on 2005 where she was wearing a wrestling sweatshirt from her junior high. After making a few 300 dollar offers on local forums it was pretty easy to get a copy of her yearbook from that year and her picture/name. Turns out she didn't have a facebook but her mom did and luckily I had set up an account for my aunt a year earlier which she stopped using after her divorce. All I had to do was post agreeable replies to comments her mom made on facebook forums, mostly to do with murder trials and it was simple to get her to accept my friend request. Her moms profile was a goldmine of pictures of my crush and really gave me a better picture of who she really was. When she came back on twitch she broke down in the middle of a hearthstone game and started crying her eyes out and I knew right away it was because her childhood pet cat had died and I without thinking said "peach was a beautiful cat and had a great life, I'm sure she's at peace now" and she immediately froze with that look women get and said "how the fuck do you know that, who are you?" before logging off and she hasn't been on since. Her mom even deleted all her pics off facebook (thank god I saved them all.) Just goes to show how even if you're not a creep you can still freak out a woman if you're not careful.

This is outstanding! lol

Is there a Mandrake summary for this thread yet? Just reading the OP I'm not sure I can do this.

"thank god i saved them all" is the best clause in the thread

We share the same birth month, which I retained, and forgot the rest quicker than the 7 seconds to type her name; The whole process of everyone I searched took less time than microwave popcorn. Care to define what you mean by "effort"? I've spent more time on this thread now than I have spent talking to or thinking about this girl.

The other night I had a dream about a coworker from over five years ago that's never crossed my mind since, any input on that?

You remembered where you put the body?

The thread that keeps on giving.

I avoid my crush's facebook page so I don't accidentally find out information that I shouldn't because I'm just the type to bring it out in conversation by mistake.

OMG!

🤔🤔🤔🤔

If anyone is ever confused by why some women are mortified by regular interactions with guys, I'll submit this. I can't reach OP, he's too close to the light.

Family members, related by blood, were assigned to be together at a wedding. They were both young and she was still a minor. So OP decides this was a unique opportunity to kiss her. Maybe he's leaving something out but that only reinforces the idea behind oppressive sexism. These situations are routinely misinterpreted but OP blew right past the family angle or how some of the interactions where kinda forced and decides this meant he could kiss her.

One of these things is a red flag for most of us and he just saw a false red flag.

I'm not innocent in misinterpreting things with the ladies, so I'll just apologize. I'm sorry, to any woman who can hear me. This is a mistake.

Now, I'll reinforce that I've never misinterpreted my relations with family members. We usually put added family members in our family. 'Yeah, he family' has been said more times than i could count. It's probably, somewhat related to the liberal usage of fucking people who were family generations ago.

I mean, pick someone else.

Out of all the shit said, this may be the most horrifying thing in this thread. An 18 year old girl, who you were related to, had to reject you. Where is her safe place? Not at the family BBQ. She's getting ready, to be social today and can't feel relaxed, at a complete level, at family functions. How pathetic is that?

If we are interested in removing oppressive sexism, how are we not disgusted with this? Women talk about this all the time. They always have to be on guard. They always receive cat calls and sexual harassment on the street. And they can't even trust their uncle, by marriage, to not take his shot.

There is not enough face palms in the world.

Goodness Thank you so much for this. Some people just don't get it...

This thread has already crossed the genre from cringe comedy to horror. God know where it will go before the credit rolls. Hold on to your butts!

You should probably go back through her Facebook pictures and unlike that one you didn't mean to

Lol you broke up with your GF of two years over the phone just because you thought going on a road trip with your niece in law was a "shot?" Sweet Jesus.

OP trying to get it on with his relative and actually breaking up with his gf just for the opportunity is worse than the creepy online stalking part.

Sorry I don't actually understand what happened. She asked you when your birthday was? And then you responded by staring directly and creepily into her eyes and whispering "Same month as yours.."?

What the hell, man?
