My girlfriend really likes the DS

My girlfriend never wanted to touch my GBA! She really want all games to be mouse controlled, so she is totally into Solitaire, Dynomite and stuff.
She now discovered my DS and leaving scores in Zookeeper which I was thinking it was impossible. In 6 min challenge she now have 850K scores (in hardmode).
I cannot touch the 500K edge....I also explained her that Solitaire is coming for the DS.
Now she wants a DS too. :lol

Anyone else discovered the fact that girlgamers like the DS??

what the fuck in her first 6 minutes she got 850k in zoo keeper?

Is your girlfriend a goddess? O_o

Yeah, my wife.

Her favorite "game" thus far?

The doodling bonus mode in Mario DS and pictochat. :)

But I'm about to turn her onto Pac-Pix... ADOOOSH.

I don't think Pac-Pix will do well with non-gamers. It's too aggravatingly hard. I can't recall the amount of times I almost broke my DS in two playing it and I still can't finish the game. Sure I suck at drawing but it still shouldn't be THAT HARD.

my girlfriend is all into Polarium.
She beat all the Puzzle-Levels in just 2 days. Also in challenge mode she managed to get a D- right away...

so, yeah, I'm happy with her and the DS :-)

No no...not the 1st time that was 400k or something, the bad thing is she can play this simple games on and on...just 4 hours in a row...Her 6 min score is now 887470 and tokoton 1800110..she is a score junky. If there is a scoreboard in a game she like to dominate. The soon somebody is passing her, she does not sleep till you of the scoreboard again.. :lol

... damn we've got to protect our turf, our honor as hardcore gamers.

We must be the best of the best. :|

My girlfriend loves all the mini-games on Mario 64 DS. Especially the one where you drag bombs into little corrals. She got a high score of 205 on that, I think.

I suck at this game. I can't get past fifty.

You should be ashamed that your girlfriend beat you.

Luckily, I've only hinted at having a DS. She's never seen it, and I plan to keep it that way!

I'm pretty sure that's going to change once Animal Crossing comes out.

girls are superior to us

a friend of mine just owns me EVERY SIGNGLE TIME when she plays polarium or zoo keeper

she did all polarium's puzzles in just one fuck*** evening and I can't seem to last 2 mn against her when we play zoo keeper

Wait she did them all in one evening?

What the hell

The female revolution.

So... Iwata's strategy is working? Attracting the [typically] non-gamers...
Dunno if it's working, but it's not a complete failure if it's gotten at least one person to start playing.

My wife is a big fan too.

I showed her Lumines on the PSP and she told me, "I can't even figure out how to pause it!"

I went to the gameshop with my g/f just to look around and check out new games, I asked her if she could wait for me at the games section while i walked to the counter to talk to the guy there out of nowhere i saw her actively making some funny remarks so i walked up to her and there she was addicted to wario DS, we left the store with a DS and a copy of wario. she some how got her friends to all buy a DS too.

IWATA pretty much nailed it with the non-gamers approach because i know my g/f hates videogames.

I bought my DS a couple of weeks back and my gf has been all over it since - more than me. Been playing the Mario mini games and Wario Ware a lot.

My gf, her mum, my mum, my wee sister and a host of people I showed at my work when I was back home at Easter all love it and there will certainly be a few DS's purchased on the back of it. In my eyes at least, that's a pretty big achievement for a gaming system.
