That's a bit unfair. That Pinkamina tumblr is going too far for me as well, but branding the whole community because of stuff like that is going too far too. Yes, there's tons of grimdark and other sick garbage being made based on FiM, but there's tons of heartwarming and loyal-to-the-show comics, fics and even tumblr blogs too (see my last post and 2th's crazy image dump for example ). From what I've seen, the FiM community is very positive as a whole and the grimdark stuff is very much in the perifery.

That'll do. Fluttershy with the fan is funny. The pony arcade is a fun image, too, take note of Fluttershyrage and the bunnies in the background. Luna in the clouds is beautiful as well.

Speaking of Luna... Am I the only one worried that all the fanon about her, based on her full minute of screen time and both her lines, is setting up unfair expectations for her reappearance in Season 2? I mean, I'd like to see her back, too, but her woobie-ness has been played up a lot.

I don't have a problem with the grimdark, crazy, pr0n, hhnnnngggg cute, or whatever. There's a time, a place, and a viewer for all of what a reasonable person should be able to determine is violent or pornographic, and I don't think this is the place. That was my point.

I think the Pinkie Tumblr stuff is frickin' hilarious and oddly cute at the same time. I'd just rather it not be inline here.

That's fine. It's the continued over-reaction to "human ponies" and comparisons with it that annoy me a little. It's really not worth the bother.

/set mode #ponygaf -i should do the trick if i remember correctly. or open up the menu with rightclick and remove the mark. GUYS :(

Every time I see this being done I shake my head. I guess that concludes any hope that Hasbro would be kind enough to have a BD release.

To be fair, that was a rush out to tie in with Targets "Canterlot" displays (hence the Canterlot theme). I would not look to much into that as an example of what may come out later.

That would imply that we're all in it for the irony of liking a show that's not meant for us, which is simply not true. Well it may be true for some, but I'd like to think the majority of bronies genuinely like the show.
