I'm selling my old beat up 12 powerbook, and want to make sure the ram is not a problem. It has 256 ram built on the logic board and I installed a PC 2700 256 ram stick. At the time I used the higher speed ram I was told it would not matter and the ram would clock down to match the pc 2100 speed of the computer, and would not negitivly effect the computer in any way.

Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah, RAM can be underclocked. No big deal.
