Name a TV show that would've made a great game.

I've been rewatching Supernatural and I'm baffled how a game was never made for this show. I think with the right developers, a Supernatural game would've been really great. I think From Software and Remedy would have been a great developer to work on it.

Freaks and Geeks as an old school point and click adventure game.

The Wire. Stealth action game with Omar as a protag.

Arrested Development finance managment strategy game.

I'm kidding, of course - just having fun with three of my all time favourite tv shows.

The Last of Us

Westworld. Would be cool to see. If not following the book/TV show.. There's a lot of potential in showing characters from different worlds and time lines.

Ulysses 31

Futurama (I know we have had games but I was thinking in the spirit of Mass Effect, galaxy map, dialogue choices, romances etc)

Miami Vice

Dungeons & Dragons

How were those Dukes of Hazard games on ps1/ps2?

Damn I would watch that show every time as a little kid just waiting for them to jump that dodge. The rest of the show was boring but I knew I'd get to see that motherfucker fly if I just waited long enough.

There's a lot of corny 80's tv series that could work great as a game. Auto man, A-Team The Greatest American Hero or V. Time to show my age, oh yes.
I'll go with V or Automan. The settings and story would fit a game. Auto man is literally an AI character in the real world. Put Rocksteady on it.

Their goofy powers could have made for a fun wirky indie superhero game

Could have been a great alien horror/shooter game

And I'm telling you RIGHT NOW, this show shoulda been what the Uncharted IP was based on....or was it????

Lost (yeah i know there's some crappy game already), A semi open-world game where you explore the island, that's already a good idea for some cool vistas, gameplay consists you fighting the others, boss fight polar bears, team up with Charlie to find some dope, obviously it's an rpg so you can be a jerk and team up with Sawyer and annoy Hurley... you get the point.. the limit is the sky.

Also Narcos.

I always said Miami Vice would be a good choice, although we did get a crap c64 game in the 80s
Miami Vice playing a detective in an Open World setting in that 80s Miami would have been amazing. Basically an inverse of Vice City.

What about Buffy the Vampire Slayer? There is a ton of content to explore and there hasn't been a decent game. Thinking could have been an action RPG with a hub sort of setup where you have full team to choose from.

Horror gameplay mixed with some Open World that you can transverse with the 1967 Chevy Impala
Each town has their own investigations(Hunts)
Kinda like the Witcher.
Main Story + Hunts + Random World Events
It has lots of lore to draw from too with a good amount of characters.

I'm not gonna google it to see if there was a PS1 game or something, but this would have been a great Wing Commander type game.

and there was a time where I would have worn my Browncoat (and nothing else) and played ANY game with this license...

This one was made. I recall playing it and liking it, considering the significant jank typical of games around that time.

Omar was sure a stealthy guy with his shotgun lol, Legendary show, shame Omar actor died, also liked him in Boardwalk Empire.

Never played it but it seems to be remembered in positive light for some reason.

Firefly could be a great third-person action adventure, maybe linear, maybe open world.

If the show From had been developed as a game instead of a series, players would get to discover all of Fromville's strange mechanics themselves. That could be pretty cool.

A cool mechanic would be if you started with 20 or so people and as you 'learned the rules' you would lose people. You lose if everyone is killed and you get periodic 'resupply' from the highway.

The Wire

GTA style with limited guns, ammo and money. Daily struggle to survive purchasing food and basic needs. Hijacking a car even involves a high element of risk. Police are much smarter and constantly on your case, the wanted system is similar to a bounty system from RDR. Survellance is everywhere. Same goes for gangs.

Manimal - Morph into different animals and solve crimes!

Sledgehammer - I'd like to see this show turned into a game similar to True Crime Streets of LA. Just a funny cop parody.

how in the name of God no one said The Sopranos yet ? what are u guys doing ?

Are we talking strictly about live action?

If not, Avatar The Last Airbender always felt like a setting that was BEGGING for a good videogame adaptation and I'm tentatively hyped to learn that Saber is working on it.

If yes, I can't really think of much. I mean, I can list dozens of shows I loved over the years, but none where I have an immediate idea of what the game equivalent would be.
