Game of Thrones AAA game

I wonder what would have been had Bethesda actually made the game when they were approached to do it instead of going with Skyrim. Game of Thrones has such a negative reputation now that I don’t think we will ever see a large scale game, but who knows.

Bojanglez

The Amiga Brotherhood
Prison Break.

Every day you have a limited amount of time in certain area's (like 15 min in the courtyard or 30 min in the canteen) to prepare for your escape, without the guards spotting you planning this. You have to escape before you get moved to death row.

Now what an original idea for a game you might think, but no. There has been a game like this already:

I loved this game, one of those hidden gems from the PS2 era.

Warrior could be cool:

Like a Sleeping Dogs spiritual successor set in 1870s San Francisco with fun martial arts inspired combat.

Firefly could be a great third-person action adventure, maybe linear, maybe open world.

If the show From had been developed as a game instead of a series, players would get to discover all of Fromville's strange mechanics themselves. That could be pretty cool.
We'll call up Amy Hennig, she'll get Greg Edmonson back, the animations will look like Uncharted, the character will look like Nate, but Nathan Fillion will play himself. Haha

With proper funding, art direction and careful gameplay planning, it could be formed into amazing space opera

Proper is doing some heavy lifting there. Foundation is so sprawling and complex such TV shows usually end up being a pale imitation, akin to I, Robot the movie vs the book but even more extreme. I did enjoy season 2 well enough though mostly for the Lee Pace simulator. Whenever it cut back to a Salvor plot, ugh awful.

The Boys could be an interesting game. Fighting superheroes but you have no powers. Lost was kinda Myst, Myst could be good.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

The Expanse. Sort of like that X series with a simulator but more “realistic”.

Whole solar system, economy simulator. No interstellar travel. Resource management and just you being a captain on a ship. Managing the crew and navigating the politics.

Procedural events and conflixts

3 factions. In depth career paths and skills.

LOST with Fallout-3-like RPG mechanics, made by Bethesda. But without following the show's main script, set in a different timeline.

Lost: Via Domus was not good.

Warner Bros CEO recently said they're pivoting their gaming plans and from now on they're planning to focus on a few of their key franchises. Game of Thrones was mentioned as one of them. So it's not a question if we will ever see another GoT game, but it's a more of a matter of when and what exactly it will be

Pretty sure they also said something about putting all of their focus on GaaS, they said this shortly after the launch and extreme success of Hogwarts Legacy, so I’m sure they will ruin it somehow.

They said that some time ago, but each of their GaaS games underperformed (Multiversus, Suicide Squad, Quidditch Champions). I'm not sure what their recent statements exactly means, but Zaslav did mention Game of Thrones as one of the franchises which will be part of their focus from now on. Beside that he also mentioned Mortal Kombat, Hogwarts Legacy and Batman

By Rocksteady. Let me walk around some girl's apartment in BatVision while she's at work and follow the smell of her used panties!!! Just kidding! (Unless???)
