Name one good thing that happened to you today.

I streamed over 3-4 hours today on my Twitch channel.
It's something I've been wanting to do for years and I'm already in the second week of streaming.

I had time to draw myself a new avatar today.

...

Still junior'd though.

:I

Why are you junior'd?
Reminds me though, I had a dream last night that I became Junior Member because my post had some typos. Therefore it meant I was worthy of being demoted to a Junior.
I hope that's not what happened to you lol

Nope, nothing like that lol

I didn't read Forum Rules, and made a meta thread (which is not allowed):

'Be more meta than the poster above you.'

Got meta'd. Entirely my fault :P

Also, decided to switch back to my old avatar again, nullified my good thing for today, success!

We found out that my wife is pregnant with twins.

Also, last month I got a promotion at work and tonight is my final night shift before I switch to only day shifts.

All in all, one of my best days on record.
We have a winner here damn. Congratulations on both.

The sun on my face while having breakfast in a terrace.

Had a short chat with my ex- and confirmed we're still in good terms.

That's about it so far. Yesterday sucked a bit though so I need more love to level it up.

PS - Dot Matrix, congrats on the twins! :)

I have to go back to last night, but I always love it when I finished diner and cleaned up the house a bit, the heater is on the right temperature, my 2 cats sit next to me (one on each armchair) and I can do whatever the hell I want the rest of the evening.

Thats great! Congratulations! This really makes me happy!

I like this idea. Actually, as a former Psychology student, this is a great way indeed to maintain positive and make people realize how good things happen all the time.

I live in Seoul. One day I passed by a small bar with the cutest bartender ever. I did my business and on my way back I made sure to go there to have one beer. She received me with a huge smile, took the initiative to shake my hand and apparently was happy to be talking in english with a foreigner. Time was short and I stayed no longer than 10 minutes.

Today, almost after a month, I went back to get to know her better and we had a really good talk. She held eye contact a lot and was genuinely interested in me and we share a few things in common. I throw the idea about us cycling together and she loved (since it was her favorite activity in her hometown).

I showed her some stuff on my phone and she leaned over without shame, her hair covered my hand and OH MY she smells wonderful. Her hair is also amazing. I love asian hair, specially Korean hair.

Didn't got her number because I don't feel like the time yet, but we definitely clicked and I'm looking forward to seeing her again.

Good thread.

I've been incredibly stressed about work and not sufficiently studying- I've been sleeping 6 hours every day for the past 5 or so days and me, thinking that that was good, realized that it was not lol. I slept 7.5 hours last night and I just woke up. I had a good breakfast. I'm looking forward to seeing my Family in two days (after two months of not seeing them), and I'm going to work NOW.

Yesterday felt semi-productive/unproductive but I met this fellow nerd on the bus yesterday that honestly made my day because we talking about our love for Nintendo and animation, with anime in between- and that was a huge deal.

i decided to not sleep to type a really important essay for class by helping out a roommate with some car maintenance instead of working on my assignment

honestly, i don't care
i just want to make sure he doesnt have any issues with his vehicle later

I pretty easily fixed an annoying noise coming from my computer. Thought it might require a replacement part but it didn't after all.

Ever since i got pregnant i've been sleeping horribly, waking up constantly for all kinds of reasons. Last night was no different, but just when i was about to get really annoyed and frusterated the little one started moving and kicking around like a little madman. Made me realize I'm lucky to be able to experience all this and that it will all be worth it in the end (hopefully :p).

Absolutely nothing. I got food poisoning last night from take out and spent the early hours of the morning throwing up.

My day was spent in bed with a headache and a sore body

:3

I continued my diet vigilantly. Something that I treat almost like s daily battle. Been staunchly healthy and exercising for a month now.

People who have has a life altering diet know. The eating can be difficult to adjust to but the exercise is the daily battle which I conquer like impending day.

I'm a nurse and there are two of us looking after one very unwell gentleman today. I overheard someone ask my 'partner' who she was working with and she said my name, that person said "oh you're lucky".

Made me smile anyway.

Nice! Those are the kind of moments I'm looking forward to, although I'm having to take a break from school at the moment to work. Got to pay those college bills!

My good moment yesterday was work calling and confirming my slightly revised hours, they had been taking a while so I was worried I was about to get laid off. I also beat the Evil Within, huzzah!

lessee... I woke up in my home beside my sleeping wife. I said good morning to my cats. I went to work where I've been about an hour...

All very good things.

Every day above ground is a good day.

Remortgage day

House valued £30,000 more than I bought it 4 years ago, giving me £70,000 loan to equity = a 3% fixed rate mortage for the next 5 years

Excited for the Apple keynote today - moreso for OSX and new Macs.

Woke up at 5AM...having slept at 6PM yesterday. The sleep felt so good!

Also got an A on my ridiculously difficult homework. Hell yes.

Eyeliner was on point this morning. Got to work an hour early so now I'm enjoying coffee before my first shift at GameStop again for the season.

Its going to be an awesome day :)

Oh, that's wonderful news. Congratulations. I feel freaking proud of myself everything I resist eating something that I don't necessarily have to eat or when I exercise for the full length I'm suppose to.

I've been consistently exercising everyday and making smarter decisions about what I put in my body.

Talked with my gf thats literally the only good thing happening on my life for the past month or so ever since i got in the army. thank god for her (sorry for spelling on phone).

It's finals week this week, and today I had an oral examination. I have been frustrated on how slow I have been on writing my other papers and my projects, so I didn't have much time to prepare for the oral exams.

Anyway, I went in to my oral exams thinking I could possibly fail, although I already practiced my thesis statements. Halfway through the exams, my professor asked me to stop. He asked me what grade I wanted since it was clear I knew the statements already. I asked him for an A, and he gave it to me. Feels good, man.

While making breakfast for my little boys I was singing the Inspector Gadget song, but using their names instead. Just as I was about to sing "Inspector Connor" my four year-old sang "Inspector Butt".

I laughed for too long and hard at this. I am a horrible influence.
