Name one good thing that happened to you today.

I met Michael Kay (Yankees announcer and radio host) and his wife at their home in Greenwhich Connecticut today. When we were driving back, we passed by one of the ritziest shopping areas I've ever seen. The streets are PARKED with Porsche, Bentley, and other luxury vehicles. We even passed by a few Teslas! It's not that the place looks any nicer than other rich neighborhoods, but it has a certain atmosphere and energy to it that I really liked. Of course that's the down town area, the residential areas look as boring as upstate NY.

Today I got a little further in my speed run practice and I have time to think of the lore and plot of my next NanoWrioMo book!
Also maybe to finish off a painting if I'm lucky enough!

Just picked up an arcade machine for the garage and got to spend some time with my dad in the sun while doing it. Today's a good day :)

Cats are awesome.

My wife gets upset with me, since the cats will lay on the bed with me far more often then they do with her.

Not a cat, but my German Shepherd will sometimes try to shove my wife out of the bed so we can cuddle. It's adorable and annoying since she thinks she's doing the right thing, but I have to try to get her to move to my feet before she wakes my wife up. I feel like I've told this story before.

I went to my annual blood/health screening to make sure I'm not dying. I don't know if that counts as a "good thing I did today" though.

No mental breakdown due to overwhelming amounts of school work and studying to do. Actually got some things out of the way, as well, so I can't complain about anything. Work even closed up early.

I was able to nearly finish this

QLCaeaXV

I guess what happened to me was sudden boost in motivation and confidence.

Bought some shitty whiskey...At least it's a drink. :) I'm sprucing up the experience with some S.O.A skull shot glasses.

Also found out Scarlet Johansen was offered the role of Major Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. I got some warm feels about that...or maybe it's the whiskey, either way...

A stranger asked me if I was actor or broadcaster because of how lovely
her exact words
my voice is. I'm actually trying to get into broadcasting so that was awesome to hear. :)

I'm in my final year of studying engineering and I did my final presentation about my honours project. It went really well, I was really stressed at first but after talking for like 30 seconds I relaxed and the rest was just easy as pie. I answered all the questions that were asked well and my supervisor told me he was really happy about how I did (he's not the one marking but he's quite harsh in general so I guess that must mean I did well).

So yeah, that.

I'm really happy right now (but completely exhausted).

I was eating eggs this morning and my parrot stole the plate and ate the last bite I had while I was checking my email right there. Sounds like a not good thing but I was worried he wasn't eating as much real food lately so this made me feel better.

Well... today so far not much (previous days have been fantastic),just one thing...

I am still alive, at a work I love, and chatting in the best forum in the internet with some amazing people. :D

Were they parrot eggs? Cause that sounds wrong.

Heh, do you usually eat parrot eggs for breakfast? Nah just regular chicken eggs.

When we cook eggs specifically for him we mix in the eggshells since it's good for calcium but as I do not like eating egg shells he just had the insides today.

I just slept eleven hours.
I slept for over 18 and it was the opposite of good. :(

I get the entire morning and early afternoon to myself. :) I'm a pretty social person, but after a week of either hanging out or being over at my girlfriend's house, it's nice to have a little "me" time. Gonna play a little video games, gonna watch a movie, maybe catch up on some errands. :D
