Cruise ship came in, brought lots of evil winds with it from foreign lands. We have to wait for the calm USA breezes to resume shortly.

Unexpected race condition with (what I can only assume) are static variables.
As a software engineer I say scrap it all, you probably all dead by now.

Are you joking or referring to something that's not on the feeds yet?

Side note, my internet just completely went out which is super rare for me. I had to reset my switch to get it back.

They said they had a race condition with variables starting with 's_', also something about an event. I obviously have no idea what they're talking about, but if I found something that even smelled like it might be a signal to imply that there might be a concurrency issue I would ABORT ABORT ABORT the shit out of everything.

They just got back and said that it's okay though.

Do these things usually get delayed time and time again? It feels like anytime I've watched a launch live, it's gotten pushed back for hours on end, before ultimately having to be rescheduled for another day, which is now how I'm kind of expecting this launch to go.

Yes, it happens a LOT with launches, at least from Cape Canaveral.

Better to scrub a launch rather than rushing it and a disaster happens.

There's a ton of factors in play that have to allign perfectly for a launch to go so that's normal.

There's still 2 hours left in the launch window so still a good chance of a launch this morning.

So much has to go perfect that it's almost crazy to even try.

Yes. They have a bunch of parameters that are set for safety. They won't launch unless they have them all.

I've been in Florid 3 times, 2 times a Shuttle was due to launch on the day before I came home, both times it was delayed until I'd left.

Anybody knows when is the next launch windows if we can't go this time?

Edit: Fuck... Engine temp issues now.

Edit 2: Oh ok, looks like the engine temp issue was an instrument issue, not the actual engines.
