Awesome, they used the same amazing box art. <3

"Image is not final" is a bit worrying though...

Also I am not sure if I should get this for PS4 or Vita ahhh ;(

Are we talking Unlimited Saga random-mechanics-unfair hard?

Also I'm having a hard time picturing the physical size of that bag. Is it messenger bag-ish? Way smaller? Purse-like?

I guess with three different versions, they probably can't go around making nice boxes for all of them.

Ehhhh, on the fence about this. The impressions didn't impress me and it comes out right in the middle of two more hyped NISA games.

This could of just been me getting things wrong, but I thought that the negativity was related to the game's brutal difficulty, something that was addressed in a patch? I'd like to hear more people's opinions on this, because if this really is the issue, why not switch the game to easy mode?

From what I gather the issue is this it's far more of early video games difuctly of this game cheats vs a predictable harsh yet beatable challenge.

Damn, I want to keep supporting the Vita getting physical releases, but I'll probably have to wait until I hear more about the game before I take the dive.
I wanna preorder because I'm a sucker for cool shit and random knick-knacks I'll never use, but I'll end up waiting on this LE.

On the subject of buying this game. I was going to get it when I get my PS4, but several people have said that the game doesn't even look that different from the PS3 version. I will probably just get the PS3 version now, I would rather my first experience with the PS4 to not be a shitty looking game, to put it bluntly.

Is their a negative to that, because good bye play-Asia this Gen

The negative would be that you can't resell your high-priced import online to get a return on your purchase afterwards. Though of course, not everyone does that, and possible return would vary from game to game. I've played a number of physical imports, had my fun, then resold the used version online for over half what I paid (even after eBay fees and such). Not something that appeals to everyone, but I'd assume that's a factor.

You would need to buy Japan PSN cards. They only accept Japanese credit cards.
Same as last gen actually.

Nice to see a release date for the west. Im still slowly playing through my copy. I love it but I think its going to break a lot of people. Its very brutal even at the easiest difficultly. Will be interesting to hear other peoples impressions. Still for me at least, I thought it was a great game. But I love these type of brutal games.

Too bad they didn't go for the omochidashi pack (PS4+Vita version bundle)

It was received pretty badly for many reasons, one being it's definitively not a looker on any system, especially on PS4 (but I'd say it's sub-par even on PS3). Plus, it's hard as heck and the CPU tends to use perfectly the much complicated game mechanics in order to have basically infinite turns, AKA cheating.
So graphically sub-par, challenging on easy/very challenging on normal/dontwannaknowhowhardthisis on Hard, IA exploits the game core which makes it even more frustrating, "game over" almost burn in your screen, grinding necessary... yeah, it's much fun!
