I checked with Kabouter and it's basically saying they released Christmas content recently and teased some real exciting new content for early next year (I'm not sure if it's releasing or being announced then).

I highly enjoyed it back in the Uncharted 2 days. Mainly because it was just a simple multiplayer game, everyone could start off with the same set of guns, and I felt it was an even playing field.

Uncharted MP is the best TPS mp out on consoles IMO. Superb fun.

Also I have my doubts about making UC 3 MP free to play. They may sell it separately though. It is the most played MP on PS3 after COD. Though I am not sure if BF3 has overtaken it now. They were pretty close.

Is the community still active? I didn't quite play this like I played UC2, but I still logged a shit load of time... maybe I'll hop back on.

I doubt they'll limit the level on U3 though. They already have the freemium model in place with all the insane micro transactions.

it's not even close

Socom Confrontation is an insult to the SOCOM franchise and it's still a million times better than Uncharted.

I think for what it was U2 MP felt fresh, U3 just felt like too much was going on which made it hard to just be a pick up and play game.

Which is perfectly fine, as it is for me to not understand why they like the MP for UC3 so much.
 
They are making the game balanced around skill instead of time grinded to get the special loadout that every person that is above rank 70 is using? Thank you Naughty Gods that is amazing!

Credit to ND for supporting Uncharted 3 like they are, even if it is just adding hats and stuff. At least they respond and communicate with the players and have a blog the actively update.

Would love if they made the map packs free for it, I'm only missing the final one and it would help piece the community back together instead of having DLC/non DLC pools. Not that there is a shortage of players but it would just be nice.
 
Did they ever fix the sprinting in U3? I loved the beta for the game but the changes they made to the sprint sucked all the fun out of it.
 
Uncharted 2 superior MP models > UC3 MP models any day of the week.

That said, too little too late. This shit should be day 1 if it ends up being the MP section for sale like KZ3 MP portion on PSN.
 
Eh. F2P I guess. The did make the UC2 map packs free for everyone.

It's too bad they keep adding shit but don't fix of all the technical crap. You still keep getting dropped out of parties with randoms after almost every single match, so you have to wait for matchmaking for every match. :|

And then they fixed it with the first UC3 beta...and ruined it again. :lol Well, it wasn't ruined, but they changed how the game played yet again. Naughty Dog is too scared to make a multiplayer game that isn't fast-paced twitch shooting. At least you got a decent amount of health in UC3, much good that it does.

Yup UC2 pre patch was one of the few online(competitive) games i played for quite a while,after the patch i quit even the co-op is WAY better in UC2 compared to UC3.
 
Yeah, until this plays like the beta, I'm still done with the game. A combination of that and my tv's input lag has basically turned me off of competitive online gaming. If the latter weren't an issue, maybe I would be ok with the game? I'll never know until I can afford a new tv...

Increased health is the main gist. They decreased it considerably with patch 1.05, changing how the game played. Plunder, Uncharted's take on capture the flag, was ruined. If you pick up the treasure/flag, you die before you could even move.
