This tweet so vague. I am not saying the gentleman is wrong, but it fails to mention what is specifically wrong and who is giving the early reports. One of the negatives of 140 character limit I suppose.
 
It makes me sad that 2K always believes they've fixed the issues (and early reviews indicate as such) only to have it fall over once they get to the actual scale of users. That's just the web developer in me speaking, as I don't even play these games online, but assuming it follows this same pattern again I really question how they can't invest a few marbles in a decent team to build a scalable backend.
 
Does Smokey plan on doing another OT? I can throw something together, but I don't have time to make extremely comprehensive or sexy.

its a sport game. gaf doesnt really care about sports games all that much, so the OP doesn't need to be flashy or anything. go for it

Everyone please keep your expectations in check for the OT. I have a newborn @ home and most of my time after work is spent relieving my wife of caring for the new addition. NOTE: I am not complaining :)

Shits always just been good enough for league play. I'm used to it. If you want to get all the features you paid for to play online then you're getting scammed but that'd be naieve.

Sad tho.

The real problem is one guy with a bad connection can effect the entire game. I have had several great online 5 on 5's where it would suck really bad until random player A drops then it's butter.

All-Star game was however the Dunk Contest, 3PT contest, Celebrity Game, and Rising Stars game are all new I think.

Im pretty sure league play was fully broken last year or the year before. Not to mention the countless times we went through a league only for it to break in the playoffs.

It reminds me of the Scouting Combine they had released stand alone, pre-2K10. Then was included in My Player the following game. Then disappeared :(.

I've hated All-Star weekend and what it's been the past few years. So I don't feel bad about not getting it.

I just like the idea of killing all of the contests in myplayer.
 
Amazon download for PC version is listed as October 16th, hopefully that's wrong or doesn't apply to Steam. They better not make me go buy this thing at a store.

It wasn't broken last year. It worked. They just removed a lot of control from commish and had stupid stuff like auto advance on.

Ecnal posted a slide that said the regular features of years past in the leagues have been brought back.

Still has to work tho
 
welp, just ordered this, not entirely sure why, but I haven't owned a nba game since 2k8 although I've played them since, mostly getting this for myplayer, played it a little in 2k11, hopefully its improved
