The Nash vid is just a snippet of the real trailer thats releasing tomorrow. Fully prepared to see some hilarious comparison gifs between the two trailers

The reason we keep seeing super tight and up close gameplay footage of next-gen sports titles is because when you actually play the games there's not going to appear to be a major difference to most players between current gen

At least the option's there. If you're that desperate for a great baseball sim, buy a PS3.
If you're desperate for a great NFL sim, ain't nowhere to go.
I'm pretty sure the lighting improvements will always be very apparent, especially in the really brightly lit arenas like the Thunder have, or the "cinematic" lighting in Staples and MSG. Plus replays are fairly frequent so you'll get lots of eye candy shots.
Still looks horrible in comparison from 2k14.
That and 2k likes saving vids and trailers with gameplay camera closer to release date.

Some of the detail is definitely lost at a further distance (FIFA). You probably won't notice that the jersey has individual holes in the mesh...
Replays happen all the time though so it's not like you won't see these shots (unless you deliberately skip them)

Wow. This looks incredible, and I don't even play basketball games. I'm a little miffed that I will have to wait a long while until a 'proper' next-gen version of FIFA arrives though.

I really need to get one of those HDMI out adapters for the Air, they aren't even expensive. I just keep forgetting to pick one up. :lol
I guess I can just stream it using PS3 media server. Lose a bit of quality, but I'm sure it'll still look awesome.
I dunno man, sports games don't impress me much; especially since they should have more to show when they don't do much at all on screen. Guess I have to see "real" gameplay in person to judge...but nothing here makes me go :-O
Animations still rub me the wrong way too...

You can disable gifs via preferences. That's pretty much the only way my phone works on here.

2K team is picking up the slack for the Fight Night guys.
Yes current gen is 720p60 on consoles. I super sample the fuck out of 2k13 on PC. Looks great so I'm very excited to get this on ps4.

Based on that comparison I can understand the excitement...it does look improved in the graphics department, everything else not so much...
The only way to watch these trailers. Nothing gives you a better preview than that. Well apart from playing the actual thing.

Yeah, I've been uploading every Gamersyde video to my PS3 and watching it that way. Always a big improvement.
