This is just delicious. Glad to see this fucker goin down, though I'm sure he'll be kickin around in the spotlight for some time to come. Curious to see if any notable Republican peeps in power will seek to cut ties with him due to this as well.

reminder that the day before obama announced US forces had killed osama bin laden, donald trump was making multi-million dollar bets about obama's mother secretly flying to kenya under the cover of night to give birth to her son barack hussein who she knew was going to be president some day so she faked a bunch of hawaiian birth announcements as part of her manchurian candidacy
Yes but was he wrong???????????

truly one of the biggest pieces of garbage on the planet.

Not surprising it only took him one "campaign" speech to say something incredibly dumb.

Macy's joined in on the fun

Macy's is pulling Donald Trump brand merchandise from its stores after the Republican presidential candidate's recent controversial remarks created a public uproar.

The department store has come under intense pressure to cut ties with the real estate magnate and businessman after he referred to immigrants from Mexico and other countries "killers and rapists."

In a statement Wednesday morning, Macy's said the company "stands for diversity" and that it had no tolerance for discrimination.

"We are disappointed and distressed by recent remarks about immigrants from Mexico. We do not believe the disparaging characterizations portray an accurate picture of the many Mexicans, Mexican Americans and Latinos who have made so many valuable contributions to the success of our nation," Macy's said. "In light of statements made by Donald Trump, which are inconsistent with Macy's values, we have decided to discontinue our business relationship with Mr. Trump and will phase-out the Trump menswear collection, which has been sold at Macy's since 2004."

So this presidential bid has to be one of the biggest backfires ever, right?

Amusingly, this plays into the liberal media narrative for him.

But longterm? Backfire total

I'm certain his presidential run, at least initially, was a money making scheme and all of this is just making it funnier.

What if the original plan was to fake a run for money, but now he's lost so much money, that he figures "in for a penny, in for a pound" and runs for real? Then, he becomes president? What if we're on the worst possible time line?

Trump's wealth has allowed him to survive being a total prick in every imaginable way. I doubt he will go away, he will find something else for which the media will give him what he so desires, but is difficult to buy, attention.

Let's hear it for the Donald Trump fan club.

I've always enjoyed him on Letterman. I can't help but wonder how much of this is just a ploy on his part and how much of it is him...y'know...being a jackass.

I'm a bit out of the loop on this. What did he say?

Also, props to those companies for pulling support.

In his announcement speech for presidential candidacy, he said Mexico was sending criminals and rapists to the US. But some are nice people. He assumes.

I gotta say, it's refreshing to see an asshat not back-pedal, but actually double-down on statements they get called out for. He's got balls i'll give him that. Really big, idiotic balls.

I kind of agree. It's actually kind of nice to see a candidate speak their mind with no PR filter.

You don't know what he said but yet you're giving props to the company who pulled support?

Yes. Because clearly what he said was damaging enough that these companies who make money from their association with him are willing to turn that away for their principles.

I've been thinking the same thing.

Yeah, he's a total asshole, but it's extremely rare to see politicians who are this unfiltered.

It's very hilarious to watch.

Well . . . he's not a politician. And we are seeing why he is not one nor will ever likely be one.

Nah this is exactly what he wants. Dude just wants attention whether it's good or bad.

Dude got kicked out of this TV show which is a considerable source of income, he expected some Dog: The Bounty Hunter-tier outrage with no consecuences, he got the Honey Boo Boo treatment instead.

Let's not miss the forest for the trees. Trump was never a politician and his current attempt at becoming one is garbage. He needs to shape up his strategy a lot or else the popularity he does have in his party will be squandered.

Trump takes it all back and apologizes.

Just kidding.

Washington (CNN)Businessman Donald Trump continued his verbal attack against illegal immigrants on Wednesday, in an exclusive interview set to air at 10 p.m. on CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.

He has stirred up controversy in recent days for claiming "rapists" and "killers" are migrating over the United States' southern border. Univision and NBC Universal have cut ties with the businessman, refusing to air the "Miss Universe" pageant he partially owns as a result, and Macy's announced Wednesday it was also discontinuing his clothing line.

On Wednesday, Trump, who is a Republican presidential candidate, told Lemon he was pulling his facts from a Fusion article.

"Well if you look at the statistics of people coming, you look at the statistics on rape, on crime, on everything coming in illegally into this country it's mind-boggling!" he told Lemon, in a clip previewed on CNN's "Situation Room."

"If you go to Fusion, you will see a story: About 80% of the women coming in, you know who owns Fusion? Univision! Go to Fusion and pick up the stories on rape. It's unbelievable when you look at what's going on. So all I'm doing is telling the truth," Trump said.

Lemon replied that the press stories are about women being raped, but not about criminals coming across the border.

"Well, somebody's doing the raping, Don! I mean somebody's doing it! Who's doing the raping? Who's doing the raping?" he asked.

Trump currently sits at No. 2 in the latest CNN/ORC national poll. He told Lemon he is surprised only that he's trailing Jeb Bush, not that he's doing so well.

"I don't get it. He's in favor of Common Core, extremely weak on immigration. He thinks people come over for love. I don't understand why he's in first place," Trump said. "Maybe it's the Bush name. Last thing we need is another Bush. But I will tell you, I'm a little surprised he's in the position he's in."
