in regards to casting: i agree, i don't dig chevy chase's character too much. i think Joel McHale is a weak lead. The rest of the supporting cast is awesome: Britta, Abed, Troy, Senor Chang, Shirley, and Annie.

I think it is much better than the mentioned shows. It's most comparable to 30 Rock.LM4sure said:I haven't seen the show yet. Is it comparable to The Office, 30 Rock, or AD? Since I removed P&R from my dvr scheduled recordings, maybe I can squeeze this in if it's any good.
While other broadcasters slipped, NBC climbed from fourth to third place this week. "Community" (5.1 million, 2.0) made its time-period debut in the tougher 8 p.m. spot. The freshman comedy boosted the slot by 11% from "Weekend Update" in the period, but was down 31% from the show's performance last week at 9:30 p.m. The time period rise helped "Parks & Recreation" (5 million, 2.2) jump 10%. "The Office" (9.1 million, 4.5) was up 15% to post its highest rating since March, and "Leno" (4.8 million, 1.7) gained 13%.

The people we love."
That was so profound.

PrivateWHudson said:Just finished last night's episode. It was a little weaker than last week's, but still funny (the sign of a comedy worth sticking with).

This show is great.
I watch both and I totally didn't notice they were the same actress.Outdoor Miner said:Can't put my finger on it, but she is so much hotter in this show than on Mad Men.
