When Winger and Chang were leaving the class they were laughing about "Cherry Daiquiri". Cherry Daiquiri is the name of the stripper Gillian Jacobs was playing on Choke.

I like that they're doing inside jokes too like AD. I love this show.
 
So I'm finally caught up on all the episodes... this show is so great. Hilarious.

I think Abed is the best character.

I'd post in this thread more, but I feel like at some point it's going to be used as evidence in a stalking lawsuit or restraining order when a GAFfer takes things a little too far. Perhaps best to keep a low profile.
 
is there any word on if they will have annie and britta wrestle or even foxy box? for some reason i am getting that vibe from a lot of their interactions and even the storylines with jeff but maybe i'm reading too much into it a la Lost
 
Okay, I was sick beginning on Thursday and I just saw last weeks episode. One thing to say:

American Tail, are you freaking kidding me? How'd the hell did they work THAT in?

I didnt read the thread before I started posting (it was like 35 pages, tl;dr!), but was there a lot of Britta hate or something? I know theres obviously been lots of Annie love, since Ive seen those GDB avatars in every thread :lol
 
I know I'm LTTP here, but I finally got around to watching the pilot. This is definitely my new favorite show :D.

I too have been watching the shows out of order, I watched the pilot as well a week ago... the pilot seems so different than the rest of the show...

Pilots are always different. For starters, they are filmed months in advance of any other episodes, so theres always the chance for casting changes or changes in actor's hairstyles and stuff like that (look at Sawyer in the Lost pilot - much shorter hair than any time since). Second, they often have much higher budgets and production values than the average episode of said show. Third, the actors often havent settled into the characters yet, so the performances can feel a bit stiff compared to later eps. Finally, the writing is usually better than an average episode in said show.

I'm happy to see the Britta avatars on the rise. The above is still my favorite. I'll be on watch during the next episode for gifable Britta moments in order to claim a new one. I'm still content with my avatar of Jeff for now though.
 
I approve of this if it generates into posting more gifs on both sides. But I still prefer to talk about the show and how awesome it is, the fact it has two attractive female co-stars is hella bonus.

yup, I still think that episode where Abed starts taking a film course is the most touching episode of TV I've seen in a while.
 
I once saw an interview where Gillian Jacobs described this show as a comedy that isn't arfaid to get serious. That was truly one of them episodes.

Even if that was true, which it isn't, I will not rest until everyone spreads the word of Community and Annie becomes the breakout character of the show. Here is a few avatars I still haven't seen claimed.

I wish I had known about the Britta Defense Force in hiding. I feel it's my fault they are out in the open now.
