Do community colleges even offer foreign languages in the real world? I just thought about that.

I've just spent a whole day catching up with all the episodes of Community. Awesome show, and the latest, Christmas episode was especially great.

But what's up with the people in this thread, Britta is clearly the hot chick on the show.
Welcome to the Brotherhood.

I work at a CC, and I can confirm for a fact that they do. Quite a few languages actually.

In fact, foreign languages are one of the most popular community college courses, because languages are one of those things people sometimes want to learn without going for a degree.

I'm taking Pearce punching Jeff one... I've been on a Chevy Chase kick lately.

Hooray for jokes within shows.

Love to see the whole gang fight together, reminds me of the Bundy's when they kick ass together :D

Britta was right, the main bad guy looked gay with that huge moustache.

Annie calling baby Jesus one of them lol (Jew-eys!)

Ok I only lurk this thread but love the show.

I can't believe no one's pointed out the funniest thing about this episode, when, after saying that fighting was "gay" the entire episode, right as the fight was starting Brita said, "Am I being punked?" as the guys took their shirts off.
Yeah that was my favorite part of the episode as well. Team Britta represent.

The actual actor is Korean if I am not mistaken.

This is a bit late, but let me change my comment to "I'm Asian, he's Asian. I'd buy him a beer and talk about his work because I'm sure he's got some good stories from The Hangover, and I'd like to know how an Asian actor actually sort-of "made it" " I figure we could still get along.

Anyways, my point is that I don't see how having an actor as an avatar would make it awkward for me to talk to the guy. It's not like I'd gush and lose control of myself like some people would over Natalie Portman or George Clooney or whatever celebrity. I know you're not the one who made that comment, but again, I don't see how having anyone as an avatar would make any difference.

Ah crap. Right. The episode was alright. You guys didn't seem to like to fight, but it would've been lame-sauce had they shook hands and kissed and made up.

This episode was getting huge amounts of praise. I actually thought it was more sappy than funny but that's fine too, the ending make up for it all with an awesome fight.

I think you are taking that other guy's comment about the Senor Chang avatars too seriously, he was obviously joking, he is not one to talk. We love this show and wear the avatars of the show proudly and we have fave actors that are not just the two hot chicks on the show too.

About the ratings, I'd like to note ABC was all reruns Thursday night, which probably led to some channel surfing. Hope that means people liked what they saw, and will stick around.

And I'll join in on those who say this was the best episode so far.

Ah cool. I've been to my fair share of community colleges ("failed" out of universities three times :lol ), but none of the ones I went to offered any to my knowledge.

Edit:

That gif is awesome.

Best episode of the season. Britta being an atheist pretty much seals the deal for me on the whole debate. I need to get in this thread sooner because all the good .gifs get taken. :(

Annie's alright, but Britta has the looks+personality+an absence of religion that all give her the edge.

I'd like Britta's character even if she were ugly. I cannot say the same about Annie :P

Annie's cuteness and innocence is the appeal, for me at least :P

Bully picks on Jeff, Jeff asks Senor Chang to do something about this... Senor Chang was like "I'll allow this" lol...

Is Britta homophobic or something? Imprinting gayness on things a lot is kinda strange.

I don't even remember it being mentioned in any of the other episodes.

What was this a reference to? I didn't get it but I knew there was some in-joke I was just forgetting about.

It was from the episode where Jeff moves in with Abed. I believe special drink was cocoa mix in cold chocolate milk.

Just checked, episode 8. Home Economics.

I also loved the bit where Troy and Jeff can't fake a good word out of saying the word fight around Shirley.

Edit: Could anybody gif the scene where Britta has an icepack on her chin and she looks over to Jeff?

At the end of the season we gotta have GAF Votes Britta VS. Annie.

Of course Britta is hotter though

Not enough mentions for the Human Being sightings in all the recent episodes. Human Being Rudolph was awesome.

Agreed. Best silent character ever. His cheer-leading in the debate episode killed me.

Found the quote online, now I remember it.

Abed: Sometimes I like to pour hot chocolate mix into cold milk and drink it with hot cocoa, I call it special drink
Jeff: And some day you will know it by its true name, diabetes

:lol

I guess that is true. Even ugly people can be GDBs. To be sexydorable, on the other hand, you have to be... sexydorable.
