Neither does Britta.

But seriously, the whole Annie/Britta war is freaking me out and making me want to hate one of my new favorite shows.

Britta USED TO smoke, but thanks to Pearce she can't light up a butt without envisioning a threeway with Pearce and won't smoke anymore.

Exactly. She used to smoke, but she doesn't anymore.

So... if Britta thinks two guys fighting are just represed homosexuals... Britta fought the woman in the other gang... does that make her gay or at least bi?

Best I came up with. :)

This is the best one yet, just slightly beating Catalix's one with the eye-opening during Pierce's hypnosis. If there werent like 500 of you guys sporting Community avs right now, and if I didnt feel obligated to keep on rocking Connery, Id take this one.

Someone had better take it. Team B represent!

Just saw this episode. I loved the fight lesson and the fight itself. Also, Senor Chang's "Best. Exam. Ever!" killed me.

Ohh, and Britta hottness.

Rewatching the episode, I think one of the other highlights is Rusty Griswold calling out his dad to a fight.
Holy crap, I totally forgot that Anthony Michael Hall was in National Lampoon's Vacation :lol

"I hate it when he shoves his PC-ness down my throat"

:lol

Beyond the obvious dick joke, I found it really interesting that this episode actually pushed a pro-PC message, which is super rare for comedies. The line you quoted, for instance, is asinine because being non-denominational at Christmas is about not favoring one belief over another. More importantly, Shirley's character arch was about tolerating different beliefs with her singing a non-denomination holiday song at the end. Even all the race and religion jokes poke more fun at the people who use stereotypes (Pierce) than the groups those stereotypes target.

speaking of PC, there was also the mandatory "all bad guys are white* while our main heroes are a cast of diverse etnicity and religious background"

*except that one asian guy, community ran out of white guys it seems

edit: for the bolded
wait what?
you looking at some 90s stuff it seems

I just wanna say, I hate this show with an undying passion.

BUT.

That whole scene with Troy teaching Jeff how to fight and the Forrest Whitaker eye was absolutely amazing. I'm laughing right now even thinking about it.

:lol That's great.

The Human Being mascot continues to kill me every week. Him sitting on the sleigh was awesome. Any chance it's Abed inside? They seem like the exact same shape. That and the 'sup? scene were some of my favorites. This was the first episode I liked almost every single joke. The ending scene with Troy, Abed, and Jeff was so awesome.

Anyone else find it strange that some of you all are arguing over characters and not the actual actors? :lol

According to Dan Harmon it's not the same actor.

Watching Britta on Law & Order: CO right now. She's totally inadvertently encouraging this dude to murder her landlord or somethin.

So as much as I love this show, how long can it go on? I'm thinking it can't have too much steam after the first season, since they'll be done with Spanish and then "creative" new ways to keep everyone interacting will have to be put in place, kind of ruining the chemistry. Thoughts?

There are many classes in college to take advantage of. I can't imagine a team who has turned Spanish 101 into a comedy in general, having issues with say, science or other forms of social classes.

Each season tackles a different class.:lol

THey sort of already tried to do a different class and teachers.

The British teacher, forget his name already... and the "Seize the day" teacher lol

Well, Spanish 102 is next. Again, it's only the situation for the sitcom. The group has been established, now they'll take a class together each semester or something.
