I'm keeping the uniform but that was stupid.

If all they had to show of Revolution was what it looked like and some words illustrating very VAGUELY what it MIGHT do if you think about it enough....

then why the fuck did they let IGN leak it?
 
Even after the rehashing, re-doing the GBA AGAIN!, after Mario brand raping, after the constant repackaging and reselling of games, and next to no meaningful Revolution info some nbots will STILL stick by them. It's unbelieveable.

Nintendo disappointed because they didn't show their stuff, MS disappointed cause they showed their stuff. Big difference ;). But still disappointing, they could have atleast shown a few demos. I guess their revising the specs after seeing PS3. Which would be a good thing! :D
 
They didnt even release specs on the damn thing! All I heard was 512 something....

Reggie lied! He said Mario 128 would show up in SOME form
 
Why would Nintendo set up themselves to get owned like that? I didn't see the whole thing but did Reggie even get on the stage? You would think that at least he would of known what would wow and what would blow harders than a toothless whore on Sunday.

I can't believe some of you.

Xbox shows their line up and it's not great to some. OKay fine turn in your uniform. Nintendo shows nothing... so you get to turn in your uniform based on the sole fact that you don't know anything about the revolution yet? :lol

It was a bad show.. but say that.. not that the revolution sucks. At least not yet.
 
Well to be fair they didn't show anything. Might aswell not have even had a press conference. It was that useless.

IMO this means that the Rev is WOEFULLY UNDERPOWERED, or woefully underpowered.

There no reason for anyone to turn in his/her uniform. Nintendo showed NOTHING. I'm disappointed with Nintendo and their PC but not with Revolution since I know NOTHING about it. This thread is invalid.
 
I will turn my uniform in when I know what the Rev can and will do. Right now I am under the impression it will at least close to the power of PS3/x360 and even if I might get a PS3 first that doesnt mean I wont get a Rev later for all the great Nintendo games (which will come and look and play great).
 
Holy shit, that conference was weak! Even Reggie disappoint!

Sony owned each and everyone of us this E3. And here two weaks ago people actually thought MS was gonna dethrown Sony :lol
 
Heh,it was awful,but I'll still get one,gotta have my Zelda/Metroid fix.

Sony sure did own us with those renders though,seriously,you people make no sense.
 
Well it might just be the end of Nintendo, but the Zelda footage and the MUSIC was freaking fantastic! There are no words!

I grew up with nintendo, i played it sence 85, now, i feel like i lost a best friend to drugs..

damn you nintendo, i has so much hope that it was a real revolution

Where is Nightrain??? He KNEW that they werent going to show anything! That's why the damn thing was delayed over a hour, they pulled Mario 128 at the last minute AGAIN!!!
 
What struck me, besides not showing the system is that Nintendo says that it will be 2-3x the power of the Gamecube. They're completely sidestepping the hardware wars and going their own way. The question is where are they going (what's the revolution) and will their fans follow them.

On the plus side, their system should cost like $50 to make, so they'll be making a profit instantly.
 
What I did see of the show was indeed underwhelming, but they didn't really show anything - so maybe you guys should just be a little patient and wait for Spaceworld. Nintendo is big on keeping secrets.

You know, with everything that has come out, I am still pretty skeptical with regards to all camps. Just wait guys. I swear, many of you guys should never invest in stocks because you guys are so kneejerk I swear.

MS dethrowned Sony, it's just that some people are easily amused by CG and some sony fans are being fanboys of course. People don't want to see it the right way but whatever... I think both companies did good.
 
Yeah yeah Zelda looked funfuckingtastic but we knew that LAST year. And isn't that game playable on the show floor? When they said a while back that E3 wasn't Revolutions coming out party we should of believed them. Johnny is being unsually quiet as well as Li.

They didnt even announce Spaceworld! I dont think it would have mattered much to me, but when the heck are you going to find out about the system and what it can do??? When are you going to see the games??
 
Well, I'll bite.

Me. I rennounce them. I was hoping for a PS3 + REV next gen but its starting to look like a all SONY party. Thank god I got on board with PSP. PS3 + PSP all the way. I don't see why I'd need to get a Nintendo console to play games I already own + played. Either make games for Sony or piss off.

I am so fucking angry with nighttrain (and I was skeptical of that little shit) and absolutely disgusted with Iwata/Reggie/Miyamoto. One hell of a way to run your company into the ground.

Last game I think I'll buy is Zelda. And that's it.

I can't dismiss Revolution because they still didnt show us the controller. When they do it might be awesome and maybe the games will look great too.

If they screw up in the slightest though (stupid controller or lame graphics) then I will hand my uniform in for a PS3.

That's what happens when you put a software guy to run the company, Miyamoto would also sink the company if he had full control over hardware (actually he fucked over the co. by insisting on cartridge for N64).
 
I wasn't disappointed in lack of Rev stuff, Nintendo never show much stuff early in development.

I can't believe how bad the GC line up is. :lol

I think Batallion Wars will be pretty cool, but not much after that.

*EDIT* Oh yeah Zelda too. :P
 
Very underwhelming, but I now have know idea why I expected any Revolution info. It's gonna be like the N64... last on the scene, by a long way, but hopefully with a really cool new hook.

HAY GUYS DID YOU WATCH THE MARIO & LUIGI 2 AND NEW MARIO BROS MOVIES?
 
I weep for Intelligent Systems (and myself because I'll buy whatever shitty system their games show up on). If only Sony would buy them..., make them PSP exclusive. Mmmm.

I didn't consider myself an Nbot, just a fan. But I'm turning in my badge now. Revolution can screw itself.

I still believe Nighttrain, and this shit isn't his fault. He saw the product, knows about some software. It may indeed be awesome shit. But that's the problem - Nintendo has awesome shit, and they refuse to show it even at their last big opportunity. There won't be another E3 to show off Revolution before launch; no big event to gain the mindshare of the industry. This E3 was crucial for them, and they didn't care. It shows you the attitude of the company, and why they will ultimately fail.

I agree with everyone else - the show stunk.

But lets not throw the baby out with the bath water. Be patient guys. And here I thought I was freakin fickle.
 
I assume they'll be showing the Revolution off later this year at Spaceworld (well I'm pretty damn sure it was announced). They might be taking time to tweak the system and making the thing look a BIT better in comparison to the PS3 after its unveiling. Samus didn't look that good. It was like watching Gamecube footage.

At least there's Super Mario Bros. DS available. That looks like it'll be some good old school fun.
 
Most of the "insiders" really fucking blew it this year (if they really are such). All of Nighttrain's Rev hype, big PS3 megaton, defections, betrayals, etc...

The only semi-megaton that actually materialized was Square on 360.
 
Who would have thought in the big video game room with MS, Sony and Nintendo that Nintendo would be the wallet-raping, non-innovating mega-corp? Screw their backwards looking plan and total farce in next-gen planning.
