I think there is something up with that empty cartridge cover as well now, after the comment in the UK Nintendo Offical Magazine thread about the DS Lite having an unannounced feature.

If it was just a cover, why make it plug in so far it connects? I'm sure they'd save the money and just have a small rubber plug. What with the CE logo as well, I think it may be rumble pack as standard now.

A headset will prolly come out with Metroid. They really can't expect people to chat online without one.

The surprise has to be that the "dust cover" for the gba port is a rumble pack. Built in play-yan would be nice and would certainly justify the cost increase over the old model, but that doesn't sound at all like something Nintendo would do.

DS launch in Japan and colour change the following March/April. shows there's plenty of time for Nintendo to send out the new colours with the next big release (Probably Mario which will no doubt get its very own DS colour scheme)

63% overall spoke of their intentions to purchase the new hardware revision. 27% of the respondents already own a DS but say they will upgrade when the system is released, and 36% said they don't own a DS but the Lite version has convinced them to purchase one. Only 35% of those polled did not own a DS and had no plans to buy the system, in either variety.

I assume that 36 + 35 + 27% is supposed to account for the full 100% but doesn't due to rounding. In which case, this poll indicates that there's absolutely nobody who owns the current DS and won't get a DS Lite. Yeah, that seems off.

I changed my order to the Navy one as soon as play-asia had they had the new colors available. I like the white a lot, but I think the new screens are going to look much nicer by against the dark color.
