I have recently taken a horde of my video game collection (consoles, games, accessories etc) from my parents' house and moved it into my condo.

I would eventually love to set up a really nice display for all of my classic gear, like I have seen from many of your pictures, but until that time, I want to place all my stuff into my storage area in the bottom of my building.

Here is my question: my storage area is very dry, but kind of cold, I'd estimate in the 40s (f). Will that screw with my stuff, or will all of my electronics etc be ok? Any help would be appreciated!

You should be fine. When I used to live with my parents, I had my stuff in the basement, which got at least that cold in the winter (sometimes colder) and was damp on top of that, and I never had any problems.

Did you house just newer stuff.. or older consoles as well?

I had both the SNES and the N64 down there (this was back when the N64 was new).
